Male slaves should probably be good at woodcutting too, TBH.

(and farming, but for balance sake i can see it being excluded)

Oh and, if you're going to have citizens be two population, it might be good to have them just be good at everything. i mean, you won't be making many of them anyway, so it won't really impact much, but having them be bad at everything that isn't building is a bit.. pointless, as you would be building with your military units.

Not only are they good at building structure, but they boost the Slaves considerably. To make them good at everything (gathering too) would not be very balanced and would dilute why you use the Citizens and Slaves. Trying to make them work this way with testing. :)

k guys. For Legionary Barracks I have these tech so far:

Training tech line

Levy Legionaries (Legionary Infantry -10% train time) -> Mobilize Legions (Faster batch training) -> Recall the Evocati (Insanely fast batch training)

Rank Promotion tech line

Decanus (Upgrade Legionarius to Advanced Rank) -> Optio (Upgrade Legionarius to Elite Rank) -> Primus Pilus (Reduce promotion to Centurion from 5 kills to 1 kill)

Legionary Infantry Health

"Aquila" Eagle Standards (Legionary Infantry +10% health)

May need help to think of some tech for Auxiliary Barracks.

I like how you implement the slave boost. you need new models for some buildings and texture the onager. And work in the aparienve of Praetorians, ( is hard debatable know how they looked)

I will texture Praetorians today. (y) They might needa new helmet (I maybe make "helmet" thread soon). I sync to Github all the new Legionary Barrack tech and Lanciarius visual improvement today.

Onager texture for now can just be a 1x1 brown color until someone unwrap and make real texture.

New buildings should be:

Colosseum Wonder

Auxiliary Barracks (or Legionary Barracks -- one can use the old barrack model and the other can use a new model)

Hadrian's Wall models for Siege Walls upgrade.

For helmets gather references and I'll see what I can do.

Same for the buildings :)

About the onager I think its unwrapped already but you could use the ao as a multiply Layer or overlay.

If you could make a record as you make the texture id really appreciate it no comments no timelapse just record. :)

That the controversy Stan, we don't know exactly what kind of helmet they used.

I think this one with about 10 feathers along the top would be good. The Praetorians in the mod are cavalry.

Also, the Imperial Italic G helmet with feathers instead of horse crest would be good to have too:

(Feathers...)

There are other cavalry helmet that would be good to have too. I will make threads.

The type Niedermörmter is a late Weisenau type helmet, here the name-giving helmet now in the Landesmuseum Bonn

B6jmKt2.png

crossbars.

Imperial Italic H Edit

The Niedermörmter helmet, classified by Robinson as Imperial Italic H, is one of the best-preserved Roman Imperial helmets to have survived from antiquity. Made of bronze and has a neck guard which is far deeper than usual. The cross bracing across the skull is actually embossed, rather than applied, and there is a rather unusual dome-shaped knob where the braces meet at the crown of the head. This helmet is typically dated to the late Antonine or Severan eras, ca. AD 180-235, but the find context of the helmet is unknown and the dating is based solely on its typology (i.e. it looks about 4060 years down the evolutionary trail from the Italic G).

But , you need that to phase reach, :/ is too much

Must build Triumphal Arch to unlock (free) Town and City phases. Wonder unlock Imperial phase.

Could maybe make a Statue of the Emperor to unlock Town phase and Triumphal Arch to unlock City phgase.

Statue could be large bronze version of this: https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Augustus_of_Prima_Porta

  • slaves consumes too quickly the metal, and the technologies too. for some reason I have plenty all other resources but metal...

is normal the Legionaries will be superior?

are you planned translate the Mod? (I Want Promotionate into Spanish speaker)

Which units you need references?

you must include weak and cheap units (food+Wood)

the Legionaries(or mostly of military units ) can perform task like cutting wood, hunt and some mining. (was rare the Legionary that can have license for do nothing)

    • You must be aggressive and capture more metal mines before enemy. Storehouse can be built in neutral territory, so venture out and grab the metal mines. The new Frontier Outposts tech can help here, but allowing you to put a strong tower near your forward mining operation.
  • is normal the Legionaries will be superior?
    • Ask in a different way? I don't understand.
  • are you planned translate the Mod? (I Want Promotionate into Spanish speaker)
    • Only if there are people to help.
  • Which units you need references?
    • Don't need reference for unit, just shields and helmets. You are doing good job finding reference. Maybe by end of week I'll ask for specific help making these things.

    • The Lanciarius cost food and wood.

    • I'm trying to make the distinction between soldier and citizen more obvious for Principate Romans since at this time Rome's army was 100% professional.
