I think I would take the tracks out from under that hull, enlarge them, and attach them to the side of it, adding fenders over them that are level with the deck of the hull. Make the final result a little lower than it is now. That would look more realistic.You could also add a mantlet to the gun: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_mantletThe twin gun concept was ultimately rejected by everyone that tested it, but it does look cool.
