The developer is one guy, I think, and he actually added a feature based on my direct request (a checkbox to save transparency to alpha channel when exporting PNG; a huuuuuge help when creating textures for 0 a.d.). So yeah, he got my loyalty with that one. It has about 95% of the features as Adobe Photoshop at 10% of the price. And you can still use it for free without paying for it.
