slopsbucket Posted Monday at 12:13 Report Share Posted Monday at 12:13 I've been playing 0AD on and off for many years now, it never really gets old. I only ever play single player though. I've come across an issue that I assume is my own fault somehow but don't know how to correct it. Sometimes when I'm playing I go to train a batch of units and instead of training the usual 5 units the first option is to train 7 or 9 of them, which of course I haven't budgeted for. The only way I've found to correct it is to close the game completely and start again. Is there some hotkey I don't know about that I'm hitting by accident? Version is 25b from the Ubuntu repository, unmodified.
Gurken Khan Posted Monday at 12:15 Report Share Posted Monday at 12:15 You can adjust the batch size with the mousewheel. Probably some arrow key too, you can see all hotkeys via the menu.

The easy way to adjust batch size is to hold down shift, then mouse scroll on the unit icon. You will see the number change. 5 minutes ago, slopsbucket said: Version is 25b from the Ubuntu repository, unmodified. This is very outdated. You should upgrade to the latest A27-release or B---- XXVIII build.

I'm one of those people who use the mouse wheel as little as possible. Mods like ProGui and/or AutoQue enabled help with that.
slopsbucket Posted Monday at 13:32 Author Report Share Posted Monday at 13:32 Thank you both so much. Now I know how I've been stuffing it up. Cheers, Andrew.
real_tabasco_sauce Posted Monday at 19:20 Report Share Posted Monday at 19:20 What I like to do is set the batch increment size to 1 and then hold shift and click multiple times to get the number I want.

What would you do to achieve the current shift-click behavior? just deprecate it? No es bueno, senor. 1
real_tabasco_sauce Posted Monday at 20:10 Report Share Posted Monday at 20:10 I was just explaining how I change my settings in a way that makes sense to me.

Ah, I assumed that's what you wanted for default. My bad.
