Well, I think it went down because there was only one HG staff member still on EEH, who was very inactive at that. Also the site hasn't been getting very many visitors in a long time... Financial Crisis? How would we be in a financial crisis if we just bought some brand new servers.

It's the amount of kills I'm showing off 39 in a 10 minute game. So what if I didn't capture any flags, look at all the assists from shooting people that are going after the guys with the flags. You get an assist when you help someone who has the flag. So I win To play a game with somone you have to discuss what server to go to beforehand, or you can use gamespy which has a friend list and chat rooms.

You know what though, this reminds me of things parents would say to you when you were a kid and then you'd find out that it's infact nothing like what they said it was. Like the "cyberspace" What kind of idea was that, and then the internet being one big spiderweb. We're actually working on something that you'll like if you don't like the AoK/AoM editor. One thing I think we can confirm is that we're not going to try to make our editor "like" [insert game's] editor, but rather it'll destinctly be known as the 0AD editor, not the 0AD editor that is like AOM's editor (am I allowed to be saying stuff like this? )

Actually I had school today It's so retarded because every other school is closed in the county, all but Thousand Oaks High School even though half the town is on fire. It's like a different world now. Theres a smokey fog all the time and the sun shines blood red, it's been raining (or snowing) ash for 3 days and the humidity level is under 10% (In most other areas it's like 40-60%) so that means everything is so dry, not a drop of water, stay outisde for just 1 hour and your skin will dry up and you're thirsty all the time. Hey but good times though

I'm in Newbury Park, about 1 city away from the fires. Actually theres some slightly good news, theres a wind blowing north now thats going to change the fire's course, however theres a new wind blowing every 30 minutes or so We'll see. The only good thing from this is that I don't have to go to school tommarro because of the extremely unhealthy air @Black op: "Rip them all down"

It's been going on for 4 days now and it got serious yesturday when the smoke clouds covered up the whole sky and blocked out the sun. When the sun does shine it makes everything dark orange. That was yesturday. Today it's worse, it rains ash and there is a horrible smokey smog covering the sky all the while the fire gets closer and closer. I was thinking that since we're in the Roman period and it's a strategic war game, maps should be much more important than the normal minimap we see now. Just like in Celtic Kings (and AOM:TT Xpack) you press a button and it brings up the minimap to full screen. In 0AD it would be cool if we did that but what it displays is a more advanced and bigger version of the minimap - maybe a full 3d Render of it? But that would be an insane amount of work to make a supper low quality version of everything in the game for a big birds eye view minimap. And so the minimap also displays important information, like where your allies army is and what they're made up of, where there is an enemy base, your resource income marked above economic buildings.... and so on. Good idea?

A great idea, but I'm not a programmer so I don't know how that could be implimented. Empires has roads that automatically conjoin your buildings as your town expands. They're only used for Eye Candy though. I think though, it would be a cool idea if you can research a "roads" tech at the market for example, and then a road would be generated on the map that connects your markets/allies markets. That would then increase the speed of caravans by X amount...

How would they know without playing it? My estimate would be 1Ghz PC with 128MB ram and a 64MB DX 8.1 graphics card.
