  1. From what my poor memory can recollect of the design document, archers have 2 modes of fire. One is volley (aka shoot a ton of arrows at a concentrated group and do damage to all or most of them, kinda like the archer model in Rome Total War), and the main one is the standard aim at a target and fire.

Just like with all of our wacky and seemingly innovative ideas, we have to test these out in-game to see how much of an advantage, disadvantage, or nuisance they'll be, so we can't promise everything.

  2. Well these projects have never been about money. It's also best to keep it that way for reasons we have discussed many, many times.

I know, I wasn't complaining :P Everyone who's been on the team for over a month would whole-heartedly understand and agree. We're a team, not a business.

  3. Everyone knows that Ninjas kick pirate's asses. The enemy ninjas were actually pirates disguised as ninjas.

@Uppy, the game lasts about 5 minutes, it's not long :P likewise it took me only 5 minutes to get that score. I played it through a few more times and so far my record is about 2,050,000. The key to winning is just getting all the power ups, then you get to bust out some extreme ninja power and push all the pirate ninjas back.

  4. pretty cool to see your name up there next to games like Max Payne and AvP http://www.ati.com/developer/friendsq-r.html#reverie

I don't know if any partnerships like this are going to be happening with WFG. They most likely won't be since we don't sell anything, and if a company (like ATI) can't make money off us through some affiliation I doubt any partnership will happen.

Thus is the way of an Indy game developer who insits on staying Freeware.
