  1. now the archer civs are the most chosen, and the Carthaginians are quite profitable against any civ now, between arrows and catapults, they can advance little by little, but they will destroy anyone.
in A23 for example you could put an Iberian or 2 per team because of the bonus to the javeliners and in frontier you could even advance to defense towers if you reach phase 2, without suffering a constant rush.
with the A25 having more balance with the archers, you will return to make teams with civs, taking advantage of the bonus of the civs instead of looking for tactics of only troops op archers.

  2. after doing some testing, macedonia is somewhat op and with economic help in phase 2 it may be unwinnable
the mounted champions can liquidate any commercial line fast and the siege towers are fast, to the Macedonian towers I would put the option of garrison siege in exchange for being the slowest of the game by far and somewhat more fragile ....

then i would put brisaidas to do the slingers to sparta since he has no bonus or anything.

    ¿Y este icono de soliferreum?

I like the soliferrum one a lot, even though the icons and details, as they said, I don't know how it goes.

and for marathon you can use the original design used in the olympics ?

  4. failures found, it is impossible to see the tree of macedonian structures
details: I liked the marathon technology, but the icon of someone running would be ideal.
the iberian soliferrum with an exclusive icon, the troops that come out and the icon are completely different, the rest I like and I have to play a little more on another map, I've been in africa a lot because it's easy vs AI's.

  5. I still like the mod version of A25 better. by @Yekaterina
the phase 2 for Hellenes becomes more important, the castrum has a real function, the soliferrum ibero gives rush option in phase 2
the difference of using one civ or the other needs to be important in the next version.
for the champion chariots, adding the option of melee and ranged would also be good, the question is with a blacksmith tech, castle or a cost each time it is done.
the roman hunt so that the siege or horses are not stuck so much, is it feasible?
for the Iberians the Campos frisio, would it be possible( desing by @Duileoga) ?

for example, the towers and castles that have a zone of greater attack, since they are designed to attack from a place, since the towers and castles are designed to make a defense of a city and not for a 360º attack.
The same for castles, would be to put a 90º angle at the door or in front of it, that has the base damage and in the remaining 270º that does all the damage of having more units inside and other bonuses.

  7. I believe that certain units should have their own statistics, which represent more what they were, in their time.
like for example, the cataphracts that were heavily armored = less speed + stamina and a little more damage ...
also the briton longswords that have the same stats as the other champions that use sword and shield -.-
the elephants should have a small area attack not only frontal attack
so that little by little it will be more important to choose each civ, for each phase and that the play styles will be more different per civ and player.

What do you think about the changes to other civs?

Also what is your lobby name?

I liked the Athens upgrade, but instead of the bolt thrower in phase 1 I would have put the crossbowman, and the tower, just because the bolt throwers have been a bit outdated since 3 versions ago.
just because the bolt throwers are a bit op since 3 versions ago,
the athenians and spartans I liked that they have champions again in phase 2, they need it, to the athenian marines I would put an exclusive upgrade (marthon) that gives them some more speed.

Happy to help. If you have any other suggestions tell me. I used the ptol model for the soliferreum. The unit does 26 pierce, 1 hack and 2 crush. Not sure if that is a little bit op

this is very well done and gives me the option to do my old A23 tactic with ibero now, if they put it in the A25 it could be a lot of fun hahahahahahaha

It contains some other changes than just the iberians, but now you can train a champion skirmisher from barracks since P2 and they do a little bit of crush damage aside from pierce.

I liked the mod, it gives reasons to go fast to phase 2 to many civs to make an early attack in phase 2, which was my tactic in A23 in duels with athens ...
    thanks for your work

  11. there is an Iberian weapon, which was very important against Rome and in the Punic Wars, but it has not been added to the 0AD, nor mentioned.
the Soliferreum is a heavy spear of ductile metal, created to disable shields or pierce armor and in the best case the death would be quick.

to include an Iberian heavy ranged infantry, similar to the Hellenic heavy javeliners of A23, would be very nice
to bring back the champions in phase 2 for all Hellenes.
    macedonian, sparta and athenaeans

  12. The Roman castrum used  of siege at a distance, , it would be nice if they would bring them back to be really useful (numantia siege reference).
    https://www.numanciamultimedia.com/en/chapter-5/The-Calendar-Changing-Celtiberians-Wars/6

It would be nice if certain civilizations had unique features or technologies of the time, one of the most useful, and named a long time ago, are the Roman roads to make better use of siege machines.

Another interesting technology, Plains Frisios, would be the fields ibéricos, celtibéricos, lusitanos, etc.

Some reference to the marathon, for Athenian sailors, or as a hero or theater improvement, to make troops within the area of influence move faster. mmmm

I am still thinking of several solutions.

The only thing I can think of is that the phase 1 units are more efficient taking resources and the phase 2 units have a bit more armor, to simulate that due to that weight, they cannot load so much, nor go so fast
With a subtle difference in the stats, more tactics would be viable, to favor the ascent to phase 2 or the rush mmmmm
