  1. Ah you're right. I dont know why I thought they were Celts.
  2. First off dont call other people idiots because their opinions are different then yours. Second, I dont think there were any Romans in the video preview. Concerning the video, I found it to be awesome, the only criticism I could give has to do with the sound. During the battle the sound of about 50 men fighting sounds like only 5 guys clanking their armor, it should sound like theres 50 men fighting.
  3. Very nice video. I am concerned with the sound, I see quite a few flaws, especially when the battle scene is shown, but other then that you guys have really outdone yourselves. Congrats on the video, it shoudl really help draw more people to the community.
  4. Glad to hear you guys have been cooking something up for this period of what has seemed like inactivity.
  5. Wow, thats very interesting. Makes you think the stuff out there we dont know about this great civilization just waiting to be dug up. Thanks for the link Caesar.
  6. I'v been in a few, one was when I was screwing around with a nail gun, I thought for it to shoot you had to push the tip and unlock it before shooting like most do, turns out this one didnt. I was playing around with it aiming it at stuff, then I aimed at my face and was about to shoot but then for some reason I just aimed at the wall instead and pulled the trigger, boy was I surprised when a nail hit the wall like that, it couldda been in my face!
  7. Being a veteran player of AOK MP, I know how exciting and heart racing it can get, extremely impressive to me that such a game could do that to you despite the graphics then werent so good. If 0AD could acomplish the same, I'm sold!
  8. Very good to know, keep up the good work guys. As Mythos said, theres always room for improvement in 1.5 or 2.0, which is something I love about this game.
  9. I think diplomacy was something lacking in AOK and AOE3, it has always been too solid, you went in a game and most of the time the person you went in the game allied to, you stayed allied with throughout the whole thing and you didnt really forge alliances mid-game. It isnt too big of an issue, but if the devs have something up their sleeve concerning this, that would be great. Realistically, diplomacy is a huge issues in conflicts and economical disputes, but in AOE3 and AOK it didnt really have a big impact.
  10. I think the way the economy will be is fine, I liked how it worked in AOE3, economy was a big part, as it should be realistically, it was not too complicated which I liked, meaning I could spend more time in other aspects of the game instead of focusing on economy solely like most games out there tend to force you to do.
  11. Cant do much but say good luck, you guys have made it this far and have done an amazing job so far, we can wait for something this good. I hope your recruiting efforts turn fruitful soon.
  12. Nice, but could use something that REALLY identifies him as Hannibal.
  13. I'll definately watch it, I'v been following this movie for a long time. P.S: I hated Orlando Bloom in Kingdom of Heaven too.
  14. I generally like both. But an aspect I love about SP is the scenerios and their good storylines, similar to Jeru. But once I get bored of that I usually move on to MP to get the awesome satisfaction of beating real people in a game.
  15. I think hes just kidding. I'm sure they will make it so most average computers can play it, so no need to worry.
  16. Any news on this? Its been 3 months and no questions have been posted in 2 weeks. Or has it already been done.
  17. As long as theres some type of attack bonus recieved to make it realistic when flanking an enemy army and attacking its weak points, I'm fine with it, no new animation needed. Would be nice though.
  18. Romans. I have always been attracted to Roman history just slightly above other ancient history, second would be the Hellenes perhaps.
  19. Oww, that looks painful. Truly brutal weapons pilums would have been, very effective when used en-masse.
  20. I'd like to see screenshots of some more Roman units in action. And also some shots of different environments, like deserts and snowy areas and mountains.
