We don't have to do something so similar to the age of empires covers ;-) I do really like the bottom part with the logos.

Sounds like a great prospect, and we really welcome contributions to the Pyrogenesis engine that 0 A.D. could benefit from... ...except for the LOTR theme. I really strongly suggest you choose some other idea for a topic. Keep in mind that the people who own the rights to LOTR are especially quick to use legal action against all sorts of LOTR fan initiatives like this. We cannot help you with modding 0 A.D. or the Pyrogenesis engine if there are any copyright infringements involved. If you go that way, you're on your own. A generic fantasy theme is fine, or a game about modern history or whatever. You can also choose a literary work in the public domain, like anything on Project Gutenberg. We can definitely work with that. I hope this helps. Good luck.

That's life in 0 A.D. The best thing is to help attract new contributors, volunteer in writing new development reports, etc.

Hi beau, where do you go to school? Could we get in contact with your professor?

Holy crap, that is pretty amazing

Excellent video. In the past, I have also got feedback that I sounded boring. I think the trick is varying your tone - Once I starting doing that I noticed students were more engaged. At the very beginning of the video, you speak in a monotone. You want to think about what makes you excited about 0 A.D. A lot of people probably don't listen more than like 2 minutes into a video, so you want to grab their attention in the beginning.

I posted on FB, Twitter, G+. If you want to hand out some goodies, you can definitely ask for a budget and we will talk about it.

Did you contribute to 0 AD? Make sure you get in the credits!

Gordon says the credits could say either "Gordon Napier" or "dashinvaine", or both. -

I e-mailed Gordon with the relevant question. Edit: I think Omri should appear as a department head, not as a sub-team under "Art and Sound"; All of the people who contributed to the soundtrack should appear (names available within the songs on Bandcamp); And also the website contributors should appear, plus video contributors such as BrynnOfCastlegate. -
What an awesome idea. Where can these be printed? Edit: So far I found Spoonflower and Fabric on Demand.

Welcome, Malcom! Your contributions are very welcome.

Burzum has been suspended for a week, for his behavior in the Civ Talk thread and his poor response to my warning. I'm closing this thread in the hope he comes back with some sense of proportion about what it means to "fight" for one's civilization.

Well done. I am here to help with whatever you might need!

Wonderful! (Unrelated note: "A N E" needs to be changed, it is not clear that it means "Ally, Neutral, Enemy")

I recommend "The Pathfinder" by Nicholas Lore for big life and career decisions. Very very helpful. -
I don't want to overwork her.

Maybe we can pool our resources as a community. Help, anyone, with recording some high-quality footage?

Welcome to the club!

Tomorrows World (2013, A BBC Horizon Special)

I would recommend Yochai Benkler's lectures/book for some discussion of people's motivations in contributing to free, open source software projects, and related projects such as wikipedia. Definitely the traditional models only partially explain why people do what they do, but at the same time it's probably not reasonable to expect self interest to disappear entirely. -
I would prefer to have at least some parts to be with full graphics settings. Some footage can be taken playing in single-player mode against a disabled AI, if performance is an issue.

Michael, take note that this is a small YouTube channel. I would suggest you focus your time and effort on bigger outlets (sorry, Pixabyte). This is why I am seeking other volunteers for this.
