  1. So is your svn client(the software that downloads from the repo) telling you that your local repo is corrupted or did you check and you have been around long enough to know how to post a bug report as is you give no real info on what is happening.

    Enjoy the Choice :)

  2. In your local install all of the games assets are found in the public.zip though the textures/images are in compressed dds format which you may find a bit tricky to open with out a dds plugin for your image editing app the reason that it's under mods is that even the main game is in fact a mod for the base engine which you can also see on the mod selection screen so do not disable it on that screen by mistake ;) if you have problems getting to a file on your hard drive you can browse the svn repo on trac which you can get to by the Development link on the forums header that's also our wiki with lots on useful links there.

    Enjoy the Choice :)

  3. So you are adding the rule to the firewall which OS is he using so that we have the right info to proceed you might not have got the rule exactly right also there maybe an other rules that contradict the one added.Firewalls can be tricky to set up depending on the underlying software the lots of info is needed to get them right so they work and keep your system secure.

  4. Can I assume your on Windows 10 if so you more than likely did not purge all the files the executable pyrogenesis.exe it's in a hidden folder under AppData that folder is hidden by default by M$ which most power users un hide when they set up a new machine check our wiki for the exact path https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths what you should have done is to relaunch the game used the main menu to get to the Mod screen and enable the public mod which is the data for game engine to use.You might try to run the uninstall routine before you reinstall.

  5. The Sanskrit evidence for zero is quite old @Nescio so are the the various arithmetic algorithms descriptions though most of this is not known by non Sanskrit experts as most of the sutras are poems for easy memorisation with the numerical items encoded in the poetry teachers would pass the decoding along orally at least that is what I was taught by my guru ;)

  6. Not enough info inferring from the path shown you used the SNAP version to install which is probably a good thing as the version in the Ubuntu repo's will not connect to our multi-player lobby it's to old now could you post the last lines of the mainlog file that should give us more info on where exactly it is bailing out as is it appears to be a cache related and since this an initialisation run is weird in other words the cache is being created so it should be ok as it's never been touched.

    Enjoy the Choice :)
