in RMS map is possibly can have options like have: in game session info map. Features of map. like Mining resources, food resources. Random Civilization sorted by: Maritime power, Great Empires, Tribal Civilizations, Greek States.. etc to people can like random but dont like all kind. Save preferences or last settings to don't waste time configurating the RMS map for each match. Geological Sorted map: Desert type, Forest, Mountain and high Hills etc. And Give to Scenarios set Maximum Population option.

Marian's reform, that means whole new units, Ptolemaic empire have romanized reforms. Now you mentioned evolving or upgrade, imperial Roman can evolve into Western Roman Empire?. And a tip to explore the map. Use a sheep, or but a foot unit to try to hunt a deer.

When is Clashed the Bonus indicates how a swordsman Formation can break a Phanlanx/ Synthagma formation. the formation is broken and its units are exposed against the winner formation. ins this Specific Case the Animation is Roman open corridors through the Hellenistic formation. this is Alternate gameplay concept. may be im the first im thinking in this but i exposed to community and Developers to Features fror second part.

I Found other reason why Roman Formation Defeat Macedonian Formation. GLADIUS VERSUS SARISSA: ROMAN LEGIONS AGAINST GREEK PIKE PHALANX. All know about Theory of Flank Phalanx: The proper tactic for taking on a Phalanx head on involved the Romans packing closely together, shield to back, several rows deep, creating a strong counterpush to the Phalanx. The Roman scutum however was wide enough that it left a narrow corridor in between each line of men, and it was through these that Legionnaires from the back rows would advance. And once up at the front ranks these Legionnaires would squeeze themselves out through the corridors and into the gaps created in the spearwall, hacking away at the pikes whilst making their way forward toward the first physical row of Phalangites Source: http://weaponsandwarfare.com/?p=2776 Roman in Romantion Against Sythagma can Pull the Sarissa with Their shields and open Corridors. maybe with Stamina effect. i love this concept. Gameplay. when an Army in Formation clashes with other. Bonus+Stamina can give a advantage in Formation vs Formation Engagement Battle. in this Case Phalanx can have 80% Stamina and roman 90%. the Bonus and Stamina percentage can be vital to break a formation.

Crowd-Sourced Civ: Ptolemaic Egyptians (Ptolemies)
Lion.Kanzen replied to Mythos_Ruler's topic in Official tasks
Tαρας (or Tarentum in Latin) was a powerful αποικια (colony) of the city of Sparta. Because of its great origins, Ταρας had a very powerful army, originally formed by hoplites and then, after the reforms of Βασιλευς Φιλιππος of Μακεδονια and the arrival of the Επειροτικοι, adopted the φαλανξ μακεδονικα. But the most famous tarentine troops are not οπλιται or φαλανγιται: the most famous are the Ιππεις Ταραντινοι, powerful skirmisher cavalry troops, good even in melee fights. Units: 1) Tarentine Cavalry/Ιππεις Ταραντινοι (Hippeis Tarantinoi) The Tarentine Cavalry is famous in all of the Mediterrean Sea for its skill with javelins and horses. They are used in mass by Pyrrhus army and are recruited by the Romans as auxillaries. They have a medium hoplite shield and a helmet as defense and three javelins to throw. They also have a short sword for melee. They can fight in melee fights without any problem. They are vulnerable to arrows and javelins. -
