In pitched battle, it was likely (but not proven) that they were armed as a phalangite. In all other circumstances, they'd be armed as a hoplite. This is in the time of Alexander.Later, in the Seleucid dynasty, the "Silver Shields" were a corps of 5000 phalangites (along with the 10,000 'Bronze Shields' and 5000-member 'Gold Shields' corps).

That, plus the Silver Shields ('Argyraspides') were the most elite of the Shield Bearers ('Hypaspistes'), so it makes sense that Shield Bearers promote to Silver Shields.

It wouldn't be needed, but would look better.

We wouldn't want fields to flatten terrain. So what we'd want is a way for the wheat stalks to conform to the terrain.

The projectile comes from the propped dude (the archer). Same thing for all other cavalry.

The elephants will need these prop points: - Driver (behind the head, on the back of the neck) - Archer1, Archer2, Archer3 (the elephant archer will have up to 3 archers on its back for the elite rank) - Head (for plumes, crests, forehead armor and such) - Turret (on the back, for howdahs, e.g. turrets) - Chest (front of the chest, under the throat, for possible chest armor or bells) Any else?

I agree. The symbol in the screencap looks more vertically symmetrical.

Yes please. Preferably at least 3 different designs for each shield shape (basic->advanced->elite).Oops! I didn't see all the new ones you made above! Excellent work. Can you re-upload them? The dropsitfiles link seems to be out of date. I think we need at least one "plain" version for each shield shape, for the 'basic' ranked units. Perhaps just wood with a simple player color symbol.

Yep. The Parthenon in Nashville, Tennessee. I'm going to be visiting there this Summer! My main beef with the reconstruction (besides it being built in concrete instead of marble) is that the original Parthenon was very colorful. Much more colorful.The inside has a full-sized replica of the Athena statue! You can rent the space for wedding receptions and other events:

Actually, the Parthenon was in the Doric style. It's the iconic Doric temple.
