  1. Year 58

Arielle: Basically, you're a just a traitor to your people.

Nolpandil: As you are a traitor to your kind. *chuckles* While we're on the subject of Eofenwë, this quite fits in to your next task. You see, he has established a Elven realm west of Rekiger only a few years ago. Seeing that in any war with the Cursed One they will play an important role, Melkor demands that you make alliances with them as well.

Eresan: We are not the best people to send there. Some may remember us.

Nolpandil: I'm afriad you are the best servants Morgoth has to send there. You five are unique in that you have been affected by the Shadow the least. Any other agent we send there to do our Master's bidding will likely get caught.

Arielle: We have killed many elves during the years, does he not care about that ?

Nolpandil: That is beyond the point. Remember 3arayheriluw Siwilax; *chuckles* to the rest of Middle-earth you are now known as Arielle. And word has indeed reached Eofenwë of your presence in Rekiger. He thinks that any that seek Rekiger's help will also prove to be good allies with him as well. He however is more concerned about Kshazomuth than you.

Atavaryan: And the fact that we will go to his kingdom after going to yours ?

Nolpandil: Who said anything about having to travel through Kshazomuth's lands to go to his kingdom? *chuckles*

    Arielle: Explain.

Thuringwethil: That should be obvious to a self-proclaimed "Hunter" like you. Just go through Rekiger to reach his lands.

Arielle *glaring at Thuringwethil* : I didn't ask your opinion.

Eresan: I've considered it, but it will be difficult to pass through Rekiger again without drawing attention on us. Unless we travel as shadows.

Nolpandil: I suggest you five Hunters reside at my adobe in northern Rekiger for a while. You'll have no fear of drawing attention to yourselves for I never use the passes to enter nor to exit, and my home is in one of the most deserted areas in that realm. When the time comes, you'll be ready to travel to the Eofenwëndil.

Arielle: It seems you don't propose any other choice. We shall follow you.

Kshazomuth: Excellent then. But before you six leave, I suggest you at least enjoy the comforts of my palace until tomarrow. Seeing that we'll all together under one cause, we should all get to know one another methinks.

Atavaryan: *mockingly* We do not look forward to knowing you, but we shall talk.

    Thuringwethil: As for me?

Nolpandil: You might as well report back to your master now. The blizzard outside should concel your movements. May you be lucky as to not get any sickness. *chuckles*

  2. Year 57: after departure from Rekiger

The Hunters, now with Nolpandil, followed the road leading to the nearest city. They didn't encounter anyone in the storm although they thought they would. On their guards, they continued to advance carefully until they finally reached a small cover of trees in which they built a temporary shelter to get under till the rain had stopped. It didn't bother them much, they had to cope with much worse than this during all those centuries... Nolpandil though seemed grateful to be out of the rain and he quickly got out his two rocks (dunno how they made fire) and started scratching them against one another to produce sparks. They kept it really small not to alert any unwanted predator in the nearby woods or unwanted guests taking the road. Eventually, the storm broke and the clouds dispersed themselves. The shelter was quickly packed and the fire extinguished. Nolpandil and Atavaryan took the first watch while the others slept

    ***

As the Sun rose in the morning and the sounds of the woods got back to normal, Arielle and Eresan, who had taken the last watch, woke up everyone. They stretched a bit then packed up everything again, checking if their weapons were in clear and after cleaning up any trace of their passage, they continued along the road, following Nolpandil's directions. The sound of hooves were heard a bit later in the day, obviously coming toward them.

Nolpandil: Halt! All of you! There is no use in escaping from them.

Atavaryan: Escape ? How could such a thought cross your mind ?

Nolpandil: These are Riders of Kshazomuth's Fell Hordes. They watch the lands for any that seek to enter these lands.

Arielle: Could they bring us to their leader ? The leader of their people ?

Nolpandil: They will take you to the nearest city. There you will have to explain your purposes and then it'll be decided if you'll be taken to Kshazomuth. But don't fear, for they know me well. My words shall be able to convince them easily to let you travel to Hamnkerh.

Eresan: We shall wait for them here. They are close enough and will see us soon.

It wasen't long until the Riders spotted them and rode in their direction. The travellrers remained motionless as the 20 or so Riders surrounded the group and drew their spears. Then, the lead Rider rode up to the group.

Rider: Tresspassers, surrender your weapons and state who you are!

Arielle: We shall not surrender our weapons ! But we might as well tell you who we are. I am the Queen of Tarimar, kingdom in the South, we come here to speak with your leader. We are in need of his help in a battle that could ruin Arda.

Rider: If you don't drop your arms, you'll be killed on.......!!!!!!

Nolpandil: Wait!!! All of you, do what he says now! Sorry about their stubbornness Riders. If you must know, I'm Nolpandil, a Friend of your leader Kshazomuth.

Eresan(looking at him really carefully): I don't believe giving up our weapons is the wisest course to take althought we will take this chance, once. (whispering to him) Know that they didn't came in peace, but with intention for harm, this make them highly dangerous. You may be known to them, but you do not control them and I want you to keep in mind that if this is a mistake, there will be no other.

Nolpandil: Keep in mind, my task would be in vain if you five are harmed. *chuckles*

Since they didn't want to shed blood on this day, the travellers gave all their weapons to the Riders. The Riders then escorted them to the next city, where it would be determined if Arielle could go further. All the while, Arielle started viewing Nolpandil with even greater suspicion. She was even beginning to doubt what his true allegience really was, keeping his last comment very clearly in mind.
