  1. Then you'd need to determine which computer is which player. Civilisation Implemented it in a way that allowed hot-swapping, joining and leaving a game while it is running, you can save it like a singleplayer game and you could put passwords on individual civilisations to prevent stealing. It's a nice way to do it.
  2. SELinux seems to block it, disable that and probably your firewall too. I'm going to be organizing stuff like that on http://0ad.me/ soon. ______________________________________________________ Edit: Can 0A.D. resolve domain names into IP addresses? This would be most benificial.

  7. I'll remove all fish from my map and then run it again. I'm bogged down with work at the moment, I'll upload the map (which is not finished) tommorow. As for the question about whole world maps. The if a map is too large (I dont remember the figures) the pathfinder will complain of overflow errors, and the speed of gameplay will be significantly reduced exponentially when map size is increased. Maybe the pathfinder will be fixed when it is reimplemented.
  8. Map is delayed due to preformance issues. I'll still post screenshots later, but It ONLY works good in multiplayer not VS bots. (Laggs pretty bad as soon as the Player encounters AI. [NB: Could that be because of the islands?])
  9. I find that as soon as I encounter a bot in my map "Australia" (unreleased) It seems to make the game lagg like crazy... But if i dont see a bot, all is well. Very Strange?
  10. The entire game is opensource and fully editable. Even if you can't mod with the tools in 0a.d. you can download the source and add what ever you want.
  11. What is wrong with the internets today. First 0ad.me then wfg. wildfiregames.com/0ad/ seems to be returning a 500 error.

Any problems feel free to post here or email me@NOSPAMluke.asia (remove the nospam manually) EDIT: DOWN AGAIN, Fixing an underlying problem. Will be back up in 2 hours from last edited time. EDIT: Back up but without attachments.. I've re uploaded my maps but will need help with the other maps. Feel free to upload your maps there.

  14. Could never find a good Australia map for AOM so I made my own, i'll find it and post it. My 0AD map is slightly disproportionate, I want Tassie to be more prominent and important not a tiny dot that does nothing so i made it 150% of normal size and I brought NZ slightly closer. Other than that it is pretty much accurate. I'll post a screenie tommorow.

Ok then: The following views before that grey bar that indicates that it is no longer my post is purely speculation by me and don't represent official views of anyone with the badge under their name that says the word TEAM on it. I am downloading from svn and one of the files is called. Cart_wall_tower_end_left.xml EDIT: There is alot of (train) CART related objects downloading... citizens pushing carts, carts carrying javelinists... etc etc. EDIT2: Has the art license changed since last release? It says its: Updated? EDIT3: These new assets are not just going to disappear in the next release if I use them in maps now, are they?

  23. Hey, Do units walk slower uphill, because I'm making a map with a volcano so im wondering whether I should make the volcano unpassable.
