I've noticed a few bugs in atlas recently. It gives an error if you try to undo map settings. It also dies if you try to save anywhere without root acess on linux.

Their only in SVN at the moment? Yeah. If so i'll have a map ready for the first day of alpha 7. I'll start off by replacing all trees with them, and i'll document performance hits. I'll probably only use them in the scattered trees and along the river in my arabian nights map.

I originally did have a Portal.php, but abandoned it for Wordpress. The general feel is better and my bridge seems to be (mostly) working. There were lots of things wrong with portal.php,I had to hack in everything I wanted to add (custom sidebars, static sidebar style box on the top), I felt that the forum should not be what everything revolves around. I came up with the idea of having a website that revolves around this 'news feed'. The news feed will have new popular events and it will feature maps, with the best maps being featured on the little gallery slider at the top. If mybb's portal was a little more developed i'd prefer to use it, but the way it is now, It feels like a hacked on page, unfortunately. I'm actually looking the other way, at bbPress. http://bbpress.org/

Gentoo? xD Fedora and Debian are of comparable speed, so you wouldnt see a real difference except for desktop performance because of gnome 2.6 in debian being faster. Maybe you want to update your drivers. Maybe install Arch/Linux Mint debian/Fedora on a diff-partition or USB and install graphics drivers, which might be easier. @mrjeremister Have fun, join us for a game when you get back.

Was he playing as cartharage? if so, then yes the idea is for them to be mercenaries I think mercenaries should be cheap but cost per/minute and train ridiculously fast..

You could try running it on a different OS. For instance, ubuntu or Fedora. But other than that, unfortunately I can not help you much with it.

The problem is that my host has complained that I've had a large increase in Map downloads but I can't offset the cost increase of my hosting with ads because people stay on the site just for on average :45 just to download something. Feel free to sign in with facebook... I suppose building buildings is not correct language. I'll place that into the guide. I'll add more faction information today. That's fixed for next iteration.
