  1. Hello everyone, my name is Michael Lomax (Lomax). I am almost 20 years old. Just recently I played Empire Earth, my first (RTS), and enjoyed it. So now I want to try 0 A.D. I am currently in the process of downloading it. Hopefully it works on my laptop. Since I am new, I may need some help very soon. Either that or I might just decide to completely attempt to learn on my own. Well, if you have any questions or comments for me, feel free to post something below or PM me here on these Forums.

  2. I would guess Linux Mint has got a web site where you could find information on how to contact the developers, and possibly who to contact for things like this.

  3. Maybe we could look at FeXor's realistic terrain demo and extend the functionality? Otherwise, there are plenty of terrain texturing algorithms: https://www.google.nl/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&ei=JwkJU8faHsWb1AXfjoDQBw&url=http://www.cosc.canterbury.ac.nz/research/reports/HonsReps/2008/hons_0801.pdf&cd=2&ved=0CDAQFjAB&usg=AFQjCNE-8jA34eftFuryvo4yOoDsOYIwsA&sig2=lm8cAFM3OZ1llxjWMejJ1g

  4. Both helmets textured. Texture and form variations soon. I removed quite a lot of unnecessary tris on the Thracian one. We should avoid as much unneeded tris as possible, specially on unit props that may be a lot of them on-screen at once: @Sighvatr: please zip your helmets and post them here, let's get them in game

  6. The Ubuntu installer offers to run without installing, so you could try that first to make sure it will run on your computer. When partitioning, Linux will need at least 1 partition for system and data, and 1 swap partition. The installer should come up with recommendations for you. Also, you should be able to access your Mac partitions from Ubuntu, so if you have data you need to use on both systems, no problem. I don't know if you can access the Linux partitions from MacOS tough.

  7. For a quick answer Lion try goggling (your Mac model # Linux) you should get quite a few pages of hits Dual booting is part of the initial install the installer will find your OSX system and setup GRUB the boot loader for dual boot.Your main decision will be how to partition the hard drive for both OSX and Linux they use different files systems.Mint should do just fine check out the different desktops that are available a few are very lite on resources. You should not have to worry all that much about drivers try booting from a LiveCD if it does not find a particular bit a hardware then try a different distro one with a newer kernel(where the drivers live in Linux). Enjoy the Choice

  8. Hi, As GunChleoc: I just built and Launched the leper branch in Ubuntu 13.10 - A big thank you (Leper ...) for fixing this problem But as Lion.Kanzen (apparently), I have no other choice than "English (United States)" in "Tools and Options"> "Language" I tried several things (after looking in /home/loki/0ad/binaries/data/config), such as changing file /home/loki/0ad/binaries/data/mods/public/l10n/.tx/config file or /home/loki/0ad/binaries/data/l10n/.tx/config file to point to the French .po, replace the fr.po that I found by those transifex, but without success Without being oppressive, but being so close to a major advanced (in my opinion), how can we put the desired .po ? Edit : I had not read It is now possible to switch from a Latin language to another (even with space problem) ?
