  1. slenderbro, welcome to the community. To help us to help you, could you tell us a bit more about your computer and the install setup you have. You're clearly running Windows, but may we inquire as to the version? Also, what version of 0AD are you running? You appear to have a similar (if not the same) problem to that reported here: http://trac.wildfiregames.com/ticket/3267. There, the reporter appears to have at some point transferred his entire "Users" folder to a different hard-drive (but somehow managed to keep the C:\ prefix). Is this also true in your case? Or any other possible oddities in your filesystem?

  3. I'm not really planning to finish or publish this map, I just took some screenshots for fun. I made the guard textures this morning, shield mesh and texture are from Millennium AD by the way.

  4. Also, in case it's relevant, multiplayer is slightly broken in Alpha 18 for OS X 10.7-10.8. For 10.7, it will instantly crash, and for 10.8 there will be an instant OOS. Newer versions should be fine though, and these issues will be fixed in the next release.

  5. I don't think this is supported at the moment. You share the same public IP address when you use the same internet connection. If you want to play LAN games, you should do it this way: One player hosts using "Multiplayer->Host Game" from the main menu The others connect to his internal IP address using "Multiplayer->Join Game" from the main menuThe internal IP is something like 192.168.1.5 (4 numbers between 0 and 255 separated by dots). You can get it with the ipconfig command on Windows or ifconfig on the Mac (if I remember correctly). This is different from the public IP address which you can get if you browse to this website for example (you don't need this address in your case): http://whatismyip.org/

  6. There is no MP server. Anyone who starts a game becomes the server, and needs to allow incoming connections. Unless you mean you can't connect to the chat server. So some questions: how do you try to connect (via the lobby or via direct ip)? Are you and your friends on the same network, or on different networks? At what point does the connection fail, and what message do you see?

  7. Dude you are a machine! Well done, this mod looks awesome. One thing I really think is missing from the main game is more Tech's, especially later on. Also the idea of placing store houses + farms outisde the main territory is very interesting and I feel would fit in well with the idea of upscaling the size of the maps. Would lead as you say to strong centers and weak surroundings.
