  1. I like the attention to detail with the armor and clothing and mustaches. However, the composition, as others have said, is kind of odd. The right side and the left side don't even seem to be a part of the same scene. But again, I do like your style. I'd love to see more.

  2. So, after almost one week after joining I am starting a new topic where I will submit all my artwork, I will not scatter it across all forum. Before scrolling down, just notice that work i submit here might not be finishedplease leave some feedback or just vote up for the sketches you like or want me to improveDo not spam: just to make this topic clear Be patient: as well as I am employed and studying, the time is precious to me to create these So lets get started. n.1 : The night gathering Spotting the enemy before they spot you , know their location and have a net of "eyes in the forest" is the prelude to good strategy. Romans were in position of invaders and their presence in every foreign land was unwanted and met strong resistance. And fist encounters with new enemies were cruel. Done entirely in photoshop, cca. 5h.

  3. The game represents the Romans during the 2nd and 3rd Punic Wars. It is probable we will not put in the Marian Reforms, but we can talk about that more when more features are added to the game.

  5. It is possible to train Samnite swordsmen if you build an Italiote embassy as Carthage, however you cannot train Samnite skirmisher or spearman mercenaries in this build. Samnite skirmisher and spear units are placeable in Atlas

  6. I agree - and nice work Tomas, looks fantastic. It would be neat to see a battle horse in the scene as well

  7. the Vikings themselves fall outside 0ad's timeframe, though i would recommend including them anyway as editor-only units, with some Norse mercs being used as special units for different civs (like Varangians for the Byzantines here)

  8. It would be interesting to put the late Romans against Marius's mules My money is on the mules, they were too disciplined.
