goldenratiophi
It would be nice if we could post in the lo-fi mode. Lo-fi mode looks much nicer in Lynx than regular mode.
Lorian
Agreed, I tried Lynx earlier and it took me a while to figure out that you can't postEDIT: Using Lynx Anyway, there should be a way to see any new posts in Lo-Fi mode Edited March 29, 2005 by Lorian
Argalius
Why does it look better in Lo-Fi? That isn't supposed to be...
goldenratiophi
It looks better in Lynx. Since it doesn't format tables like a graphical web browser, the non-lo-fi version is extremely messy and hard to navigate, but the lo-fi version is much cleaner. Argalius
So Lynx doesn't show any pictures?
goldenratiophi
Nope. Lynx is a text-only browser.
DarkAngelBGE
Well, the lofi-version is meant for printing. Not sure if Invision Power plans anything like that, but I will ask them.
Lorian
Can't you write a mod or something?
DarkAngelBGE
Hrm, would be quite a biggie project. :/ I will ask them first.
Lorian
Ok, well you have at least 2 supporters of the project if you do do it. Me and Carlos

CodeOptimist
I went in search of a lo-fi IPB skin for v2.0 a while back, and found one, but when I last checked it wasn't fully finished. I'll see if I can find it again.Edit: not quite a full 'lo-fi' mode, but certainly lighter on bandwidth - http://forums.invisionize.com/index.php?showtopic=59385
Lorian
It still doesn't look too good in Lynx, It's still a big table but with all the images removed
goldenratiophi
Edit: not quite a full 'lo-fi' mode, but certainly lighter on bandwidth - http://forums.invisionize.com/index.php?showtopic=59385←I went into graphics mode *shudder* to see it. Almost anything with tables is going to look like a big jumble of messyness in Lynx.I found this in the Lynx help:http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/%7Ejeffwong/ly...sign/index.html
