Thanks to the big sissy's at district headquarters, school has been cancelled for me tomorrow :P

Basically they dont want kids going out in -20 and below weather. so.... no school !!!

All District 833 schools will be closed Friday, Jan. 14 because of predicted extreme wind chill temperatures. Decisions on after school and evening activities will be made Friday.

Crap, I also managed to get the day off tomarrow (in-service day) and I have to share it with Sam. Jk there, I'm really glad for one day you don't have to go to sucha stupid place as school.......

School isn't cancelled here, but we have a half day because it's the end of the semester and a 1 hour delay from the snow, so classes are going to be something like 15 minutes long.

Wish we got days off for cold weather, we havn't had snow for years except enough to get a snow day off once last year, but we didn't get off! :'(

Hmmm... Makes close to -30 C. Not enough cold here to have no school. -40 (F/C, it's the same) is more of such temperature here. We never had it though in Montreal. As for snow, you need a big snowfall (more than 30) to have no school.

We haven't had off school ever since I'm going to school - and that's quite some time already. In fact, living in a mild-climated coastal area of Europe doesn't only have its benefits I've been having the probably most stressful weekend of the last two months, but now, it looks like the worst is over - though there are still four homework assignment reminders pinned to the board above my desk... *returns to work*
