paypal donations are not working from india

Today I tried to test if paypal donation is working in 0AD, i am from india. I was just testing if it will work and I was not able to send the money. 

what if this is a global scenario.

I don't know if the issue is for me alone. but I thought I should report in case you didn't notice. 

CREDIT CARD OPTION TEST WORKED ONLY PAYPAL HAS ISSUE.

I tested paypal again after successfully testing with credit card option, since I had to enable international transaction in my account.

had to make sure. I think this is an issue from paypal.

Hey @leopard thanks for the report it's worrysome what happens when you try to pay with paypal?

Paypal should work in India, so hopefully it's something more specific that can be fixed. To add to Stan's question: do you have a Paypal account?

I tried again to test it, but got an error message like always. but when I tested the credit card option it was working.

Hmm, seems like Paypal handles donations differently to other payments. Not sure what Wildfire Games/SPI can do about it though as it's most likely something to do with e.g. tax laws in India or something similar.
