Screenshot Improvements

The Big Screenshot (Shift-F2) is much improved, outputting a 4K screenshot in BMP format. I was wondering if there were things other people wanted to see improved for screenshots.

Just one thing, a smooth way to capture something not just a single image, but a short clip. This can be used to show a defect or just share your new "eye candy" as @Mr.lie has done in the past (Your 0 A.D. Screenshots 14/Dec/21).

PS:  'Big Screenshot' can be triggered with 'Shift+F2'

You mean like a short video clip MP4 or a gif?

I totally agree. Additionally smoother camera control in-game (rotation, zoom, ect.) would be nice for such clips.
Also: I would like unrestricted viewing angels, without having to turn on the developer tools.

A mp4 clip would be enough. On macOS it's easy to do because it's built into the OS, but other users like @Diniz (Guarnição de heróis 19/Mar/21) have difficulties to make a video.
