Stan`
Hello @Beise and welcome to the forums. Thank you for your interest in helping with the game documentation translation. 1 hour ago, Beise said: So I would like to translate your Wiki and / or the manual. That would be great however Edgewall Trac doesn't support page languages yet, see https://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/1513, therefore I'm not sure how you can proceed with that. There is no manual yet, a proposal for an auto generated LaTeX one was submitted, but I never resumed the work on it. https://trac.wildfiregames.com/ticket/1840 Let me know If I can help you more, Best regards, Stan.
Beise
Hi Stan, thanks for your answer. Please take a look at https://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TranslationDe/WikiFormatting. It seems to be more a problem of design or formatting. I like wikis, so i think there is no problem, but at least, you say or now. Best regards, Andreas
Stan`
Sounds good then Maybe start with something small first ?

Beise
Hi Stan, you're right. I am about this address: https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki, come there. To the question, with which one begins: I would put all wiki pages in a directory, e.g. "Translation_DE", copy and start the translation. Finally, the link or overview pages. This has the advantage that nobody clicks on dead links. Or you start with the pages that are the most used, such as short info, overviews, etc., as can be found in the wiki above. Also missing on the main page is the link to the wiki (the wikis) Personally, I would start with pages that offer a thematically quick overview best regards Andreas

Beise
I think, I first practice dealing with the Trac Wiki and do a few practice pages. If I have that under control, I'll let you know and we'll discuss how to translate the wiki or what to do with it

Beise
Hi, yes. I think, we can start. And if we follow the trac people, i need a folder e.g. "Translation_DE" with all, or sites of your choice, of the wiki sides inside, to start translating. Stan`
@Beise@ Good work so far. Small nitpick Can you add edit messages when making changes? So that we can actually track the page history. If you need me to create pages when you are done with one please ask me here
