It's a good start.

I encourage you to stand at a table and make mock hammering movements to get a feel as to how the body would move in this situation. I think the torso would probably twist more, for instance.

Indeed looks better.

Hmm.. I wonder if the movement weren't more like a loop. First to the side looping back upwards ... the forward and down again.

Though it might depend on the weight of the hammer. Difficult.

I plan to make variations to have different blacksmiths in the same building

-climbing into a ladder

This one requires coding. And therefore I can't do anything for now

If I understand correctly you mean having the same mod as Rome II ? If so, the skeletons won't fit. But you can always add bloody variations on the units. We could have a blood mask like http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=2042 But that's 2D ;)

This is looking good! Will the same blacksmith be doing the different animations, or will there be one blacksmith looping each animation?

With the different animations I'm assuming it'd look like he's progressing to make one item? Going to the bucket, etc.
