I like that suggestion and couldn't believe there isn't already an Issue for that on Gitea—at least, I didn’t get any positive search results.

If it is already shown when hosting a game, it shouldn't be so hard show it for example when you click the name in the player list...

I wonder if people who use this Counter-Strike mod also come up with those familiar excuses?

"Okay, but this is available on the internet and open to everyone. That means it’s not cheating. Go download it yourself."

"A lot of other people use it too. Why are you criticizing me? That means you have a personal problem with me."

"Aiming is repetitive and unnecessary anyway. I’m actually improving the game. I help new players get used to the game faster."

"This isn’t a cheat, it’s a mod."

"You can aim with a mouse too, there’s not much difference. In fact, the other day someone killed me just by aiming normally with a mouse."

Lol is not new, some people can be very OP programmers, if that is the case, and you want you created or developed is used by people you must consider UX

I geniunely recommend you to learn how to play.

Don't give advice you're not being asked for. And you won't get advice on where to go.

I did not create this topic to listen to advice from users without proven qualifications. Which is the last thing I'm interested in.

0AD, I called your auto-queue shutdown annoying at the beginning of this thread. And they still have it, even if you post detailed instructions here.

No matter how much you throw mud at ordinary users - "Learn to Play" - you will also get accused of being unable to create a pleasant game mechanism.

The "Modern GUI" mod solves your mistakes even in simple button layout. What you should have done in the beginning. Rather than storing your mistakes for decades. And for the same number of years, you've been accusing users of a lack of intelligence, rather than admitting your mistakes in the UI.

And this is my repeated opinion, after reviewing your answers.

I didn't even read your answer. Good day.

I think AoE2’s auto-scout resembles more letting the game play for you. I guess I used it back then, but I haven’t missed it in 0 AD.

Aoe2 autoscout is a good example of an automation feature left unoptimized. The scout does not move in the best direction according to the map elements it discovers. A human player with an elo as low as 600 would outperform autoscout.

The automation features present in a certain compatibility escaping 0ad mod are optimized and can’t be outperformed by even the best 0ad players using all of their focus. In that gameplay design mentality unoptimized automation features are considered “bugs”. Similar logic applied to the aoe2 scout would have it self-navigate the map based upon what it finds.
