neonardo
I didn't go by the station today but last I heard they were the low $2.70's/gal around here in central Alabama. We've been seeing about a 3-5 cent drop every day for a few weeks now, and I'm loving it. MattSherman
The price jumps up every Thursday and goes back down at its own pace pretty much depending on the gas company. The highest I can remember here (Montreal, Can) must have been something like $1.40 a litre. That was not too long ago either. I payed $1.06/L a few days back when I filled up. Its sad that I now find that cheap!!! You guys in the US don't know how good you have it!Lets see slightly less than 4 L per Gal Right? So 1.40 x 4 = $5.6 (CAN) per GAL of gas. wowzors!Guess that's the price we pay to send our oil to the USA and have it refined then sold back to us!!! neonardo
Dang.I just filled my truck up for $2.71 (2.69 at Raceway but they have cheap gas and it's lower quality so I don't use it).I hope to see it drop to about $2.50 and stay there...or perhaps 2.00 and I'd be in heaven! Justinian
Is it USD$2.00/litre(gallon) or what. Because in Australia it's hovering around AUD$1.50. which coincidentally means we are paying more (when you convert litres into Gallons).Either we should be paying 0.22/2.00 (I'm really tired right now) or you should be paying 4.55x1.50.Interestingly enough despite all Petrol Companies having standardised prices (Two stations one suburb = same price) there is nothing illegal (price-fixing etc.). I think our Consumer Affairs people need to work harder.
Kimball
USD$2.89 in Southern California. I'm glad it's finally dropped significantly.
MattSherman
98 CENTS A LITRE TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ykkrosh
96.4p per litre around here (UK), apparently. So that's about $5.45 USD/gallon, or $6.63 CAD/gallon, or $1.75 CAD/litre, or $2.17 AUD/litre, at current exchange rates. I'm happy that I don't have a car
Mythos_Ruler
USD $1.89 now here in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I suspect it won't stay this low forever. Either way we seriously need to invest in alternative energy sources, irrespective of the fluctuating prices of petrol.
