  1. That's a great way to speand our money Swellick. While I'm here, I'll talk about another idea. Maybe for a lesser amount than say a CD or Modpack, you can buy yourself a custom title for these fourms if you're non-staff.
  2. That's funny, I've never heard of the term "ear future" before.
  3. Ohhh..... thank you Tim. If I only knew how to spend it...........
  4. Speaking of films, I find myself watching the Jacksonian LOTR movies every weekend.
  5. Can we get bonuses in games or triva matches started by Mods if we win or choose the right answer?
  6. I don't really like the concept of nurseries from a historical standpoint, which I think didn't exist in Ye Days of Yore. Feels more like a cloning hatchery or Jacksonian Orc pit to me (then again, Ye Classical Town Centere of AOE/AOK can give this impression too). Maybe give this function to houses, that'll seem more natural. But I still distaste this idea very much.
  7. Nice thought Swellick, some nations are more likely to conscript spearmen, others a mix of skrmishers and archers, and others calvary and spearmen, and so on. As a rule, they should have 1/4 the effectveness of their military counterparts so people don't use them as a decent replacement for a proper army.
  8. But what about when you're in the middle of a war? Chance's are, you're too busy trying to build up an army or fighting to worry about villages. And suppose you don't want any new villagers, you just want to make fighting units. You'll waste resources for villagers and their housing when it can be spent on more important things.
  9. Total Annihilation (AOE/AOK) I make a really big enemy army and city, then I use cheat units to slaughter them all. ;)
  10. Some More Misc. Special Units: UFO Laser and Nuke Trooper from AOE Car from AOK Balrog Plague-infested rats (everyone that encounters them dies)
  11. Well, I'll say. This is the most innovative rating system I've ever seen in my 15 years of life experence Tim. Either that or it's a nice way to keep us all in line and to discourage one-line spamming.
  12. I just thought up of an idea. There should be a command that within like say... 10 seconds can turn your male (and women with a special technology) villagers into whatever is the worst foot unit there is. This can be useful when the Enemy is raiding your village or you're all going to get killed so you go out in a blaze of glory or just that you could use some reniforcements fast. However, as long as this is in use, they can't do any other work until you give the command to go back to work. In other words, this is an alternative to "garnisoning" your villagers in a town center. Comments?
  13. Sorry, but under this birthrate system, this would create too many villages in too fast a peroid for a mortal player to handle (assuming they are poor at multitasking). Also, they take space away from military units (assuming 0AD and TLA have AOE-style houses) that you may need when the Enemy is slaughtering your populance, sieging your city, and it looks like your Allies won't come to your rescue. And besides, you're supposed to control every aspect of your peoples lives in a RTS, surly you can control birth as you see fit as well?
  14. The only thing I watch on T.V. besides the news is The Simpsons and some random History Channel when I feel like it (usually during the summer).
  15. - "Useless" buildings ie. those that serve no purpose except for eyecandy and can't be made in-game, like shrines, baths, graves, and houses for the rich. - Dead bodies and bones. - Everything else mentioned.
  16. At least this topic has you trying to get to a hidden last post first, so it isn't spam.
  17. Yeah, we want more!!! *Everyone starts chanting that they want more*
  18. I'm going to say the campaigns and modpacks.
  19. [WARNING: Esus didn't add "[]" to his post. Run]
  20. I'm going with B, seeing that that's the oldest out of the choices.
