  1. That's because google translator is the worst translator ever. Pasar la aspiradora means to sweep with the vacuum cleaner, or less literally, to vacuum. So the sentence translates to: I need to be vacuuming right now.
  2. Hold up, I am definitely WCIII stuff. WCIII's all about finding gold mines. They even tell you where they are on the minimap!! WCIII is the most micro-intensive game ever. If you're facing against a weak enough opponent you can win by simply microing your hero effectively. 2v1 Blademaster Harass comes to mind... Cheap, effective, plans like that have to not work. And there can't be an emphasis on build orders. The thing with WCIII is that knowledge of your opponent's army is more important than a fixed build order, because most units are really effective counters to certain other units.
  3. The main problem isn't writing It's conjugating fast enough for everyday common speech. That's the hard part.
  4. Oh well.... I suppose calc is the most interesting of all math subjects. But learning to add was so much fun!! One balloon... and 8 balloons... make 9 balloons. Anyway... We're doing Logarithmic Integration and Differentiation. Joy. This might get somewhat exciting.
  5. I downed about 30 spicy wings once It wuz gooood.
  6. I'll take 600 chicken fa-ji-tas. (Like that one time in Family guy...)
  7. Or you send them to this little are where they learn to use spears--like near the barracks where soldiers are being trained. How about that?
  8. In WCIII, the Human Peasant changes into militia with the click of a button, they run to the town hall/keep/castle and get armed for about... 20 seconds (I'm not sure about the time) Key point: They have to get armed at someplace, and it takes time. Much like the town bell option in AOM/AOK. But you'd have to train them, see? So that should require a researchable upgrade or something: Peasant Weapon Proficiency or something like that.
  9. But you'd have to research the option first.
  10. Here *Hands business card for psychiatrist* Goddarn... You actually know all that crap? Goddarn... he's excited about taking calc? <<Finds calc to be boring and semi-pointless. Not to mention tedious as well.
  11. Honest to god, his sisters are goddarn @#$%es. No I'm serious. Oh crap if they see this, I don't think I'll show my face in front of them again. XD
  12. Hey it's andrew! Kill anyone lately? XD I'm kidding, you know i'm kidding, right? right?
  13. but without clothing it is easier to get cuts from light injuries, which may get infected, etc... And I wouldn't want flies on my nads... But I'm not a celt I suppose in this case it's worth the anachronism to give Celts clothing.
  14. I'm sure we can convince the users that the benefits of armor outweigh the benefits of nudity.
  15. What year are you guys in? <<Third year Espanol student. Tell me if you understand the following sentence, a little inappropriate, as I am testing all ye out there. Especially thou who art Zezar: Tengo que estar pasando la aspiradora ahora.
  16. Like the aura system in WCIII... The statues could have different effects. One to Saturn could improve resource output for a radius. One to Mars could improve morale of the military. One to Typhon (or some other scary immortal being) could demoralize the enemy. That is... for the romans. It ought to be allowed to capture and redo statues, like convert one of Saturn to another Fertility Deity.
  17. Here's another q: (no wait, make that 2) Will the unit be based upon how it is equipped, or will you make a unit and then choose how it is equipped? Can "spearmen" actually throw spears in addition to brandishing and stabbing?
  18. Maybe you should make a tutorial that involves Longinus the Roman Soldier Stabbing Jesus, teaching the new player how to choose units, move, and attack. And for abilities, there WILL be morale boosting, right? Like the presence of a Roman General ought to raise defense and attack for nearby Roman Soldiers. Terrain bonuses, etc, as usual. In addition, what if the stats of units varied from unit to unit? In a war, not each soldier is alike. And what about salvaging resources from corpses?
  19. This might be off-topic, but I see no Jesus articles. Surely he was a great influence during that time w/ his disciples and whatnot. Maybe you should make a tutorial that involves Longinus the Roman Soldier Stabbing Jesus, teaching the new player how to choose units, move, and attack. On a side note, maybe I should find a better place to make this post.
  20. I'm sure it's to stimulate the minds of great thinkers like you, Dnas.
  21. "Argalian" sounds better than "Bakayarian." Sounds like some kind of civilization. Maybe if you made an "Argalian Civilization" for an expansion of the game, but that's off topic. And as for it being not done before in an RTS, I thought the point of 0ad was the rock the socks off of other RTS Titles.
  22. "I could have seen that with my eyes welded shut!" "Ach, Hans! It's the Lhurgoyf!" (Any MTG players here?) -2 more by me, more will come when i'm inspired.
  23. There's enough lauding of praise already, and I don't think that offers any information. *DISCLAIMER* These views are extremely picky. No normal person ought to pick out details like this. I'll give some of my views: 1. I don't think charging horsemen would usually sit upright. If one were going at great speeds the wind would be rather irritating, and one would be likely to crouch somewhat. And maybe the shield would be put in a more protective position. 2. On the scouting the enemy pic, the Iberian scouts are standing behind the rock. Standing. This is not exactly realistic. In addition, rocks that are on the slopes on the right seem to be resting rather unnaturally. 3.In addition to the well water being too blue, it is rather motionless. Perhaps if there were ripples... but this is a freeze-frame screenshot so I have little clue of what I'm talking about. 4. In Stand-Off, the soldiers seem unnaturally calm in their confrontation. They ought to have their shields in defensive positioins. That's all.
