  1. Pop limits= Unit Limits= 1), a very large & poorly defended town, or 2) a very small town. 1)= Major ownage, and 2)=little battles, both=little excitement/fun.
  2. So you think a shipment is like a double-edged axe, it hurts and helps. I don't see why, however.
  3. Yes, but Risk is a singleplayer AND limits on what territories you get, and i HATE limits The leader also does have to manage his or her capitol & every other city he or she controls, like any other player. I'm thinking of Moral, more moral increases Unit training speed & attack power & speed, and farmers produce more.
  4. I like it, and I DON'T like limits, especially on Pop & buildings (EX houses AoM )
  5. Who says that a boom can't be rushed?
  6. Now that I learned that there won't be ages in the game like AoM and AoK, I was wondering if a player has to start out building a type of building that leads to unlock another building, or can a player just build a wonder when he just starts?
  7. I was only asking how it works, not telling how to do it.
  8. Well, yea i guess conquer the world. But remember to conquer the world you need a lot of supporters, and if a group doesn't like it they can split off, plus there will be NPCs that will control territories. Also, there could be realms, if one realm is being too pushy, then go to the other one.
  9. I've been playing AoM & AoK for a while now, and what really stops the game is population. In AoM, you can only have up to 300 pop, in AoK 200. I was wondering if in 0AD will have either a limited or unlimited amount of population.
  10. It just hit me. Will the sun be in the same position or will it be able to rise and fall? Plus, I heard in another topic that Hoplites are strong in Phalanxes, but not in singular. So how will they be trained?
  11. What I meant was after a game, it doesn't do anything. Just something in the background to add to the drama of scores after the game. I gots an idea! Only have soldiers drag other dead soldiers into a fire when a player Loses, but a marching army (like parades) when they win.
  12. This idea would be great for farming, but houses, I don't know. Plus, it doesn't matter how it shows who controls what, because it'll be obvious by the buildings and soldiers at the area, because if It's like getting a building there first, It'll be like EEII multilpayer, get all the territories first.
  13. No, getting a lot of Villagers to get me a lot of resources so i can have a military boom shortly after (My best tactic). That's all I'm going to give out, I don't want anyone trying to copy/foil it
  14. OK, how about this? The player doesn't get xp, but can play as his main town to make more soldiers in case of an attack, and a player attacking has to make sure his army can destroy without being destroyed, no shipments about it. But there could be reserves. Remember, this was an idea about GROUP efforts, not free-for-all. New players can be settled safely in islands (Greece has ALOT of islands) or other places, and there will be a n number of days before becoming a target. And when a new account is made, then he/she will be settled in an NPC group (EX Sparta, Athens, ETC.) to make sure it won't be a wipe everytime a new account is made. And remember, this is just an Idea that can be added to.
  15. What'll happen/look at the edge of a map, will it be like in AoM were you can see into the land (part of mythology saying the Earth is flat, incase no one noticed it), or will it be foggy, like in AoEIII. Also, what happens if a soldier gets to close? I know it seems obvious, but it just doesn't seem realistic for a guy to stop there. Maybe it could be shaped into an outlining of a map, and not just plane square.
  16. My first stradegy will be: Economic Boom No doubt about it.
  17. I had a question, if Hoplites are only ment for Phalanxes, then how will they be trained? In bunches, or what?
  18. OK, how about let's get back onto topic?
  19. Make the next a navy invading a town that also has navy, to show some destroyed buildings & sinking ships
