I've recently started up blogging. Yes, that's right, the age old hobby of general internet nerds has finally reached my doorstep. I had a blog that was integrated into a forum I occasionally visited, but that wasn't enough, so I decided to set up WordPress. I used to hate WordPress, but it's not all bad.
Anyway, http://purpledesignstudios.com/blog/
Keep up to date with my daily life and other stuff I'm working on, all the time.

Two Romes would be interesting. It might be difficult to find people interested in developing such a mod however, considering that our current Rome is Pre-Imperial, and the differences would be few in number.
Personally, I'd love to see a rendition of an asian civilization from the given parameters (the "prime" point of the said civilization from 500 BC. to 500 AD.). The medieval mod series' are all fine and dandy, but I'm personally an enthusiast of this particular era.

Just did a new one, this time with a texture. Learned how to UV map stuff.

I love ModDB.
If you like, check out Remorse. It's a next-gen FPS with a class act of an engine that I'm helping develop artistic content for. Be sure to check out our tech demo and see what's so great about our engine.

My first ever model!
Laugh all you want experienced modelers at my @#$% house, but after a year and a half of procrastination, I've finally opened a 3D program and tried to make something in it.
Like to thank GoM for pushing me to the point of annoyance and Wings 3D for having a simple enough interface to make sense to a dumb graphic artist.

Although I understand the simplicity behind the process (and I've seen it it use at AoE3H), it might be difficult to sum up everything that can be done. While it may give the community a better scale of progress, I don't think it's a good idea to gauge our work like that.

No problem! Link back if you're up for it. I'd appreciate it.

I've thought of getting IV for Macs. Haven't played any of it's predecessors, so I'm not sure what the game is like.

Welcome Dominius.
He's also a PDS member, so the AoM community is likely how he got here.

It is. The discount was just additional motivation.

Offer is good through January 5th.

That is where California normally is, yes.

My family attends night service church on Christmas eve, usually around 6pm. Dinner is special, but not always consistent in terms of what we eat. We normally open one or two gifts on Christmas Eve, and on Christmas Day is when all the "action" happens.
We just took down decorations today, such as the tree and stuff, with some still left up because we just haven't gotten around to it, lol.

There will definitely be a limit on the number of beta testers we choose to include in the process, and it is likely that those few will be chosen based on community activity and input. How soon? It's hard to say. It all depends on how quickly things go in the next few months, but I wouldn't expect it before this summer or even this coming winter.

Nope. Mostly making videos and hanging around YouTube too much. He started music composition, but he's still 'learning' I suppose, but he's good at it so far.
