I believe ASP stands for Active Server Page.
You usually have a choice for your server: windows or linux in this case. If you get the windows one you can use asp and such. But with the linux package you can do a lot more in terms of being able to use php.
Some others will know more about web hosting that I do.

Then it will have AGP for the graphics since its from 2002. If you were to get a new mobo it would be wise to upgrade to PCI-E for future proofing your pc.
-
That will be fun to build.
I agree, it would be smart to get a 64bit core even if you don't have 64 bit OS now (Vista will in 2007). Other that Vista you could use Win XP Pro x64, which I run as my main OS. It works great except for the few drivers (webcam) that don't have 64 drivers.

Exactly right. I have a duel boot system set up, so that I have my standard XP Home and Pro x64. Almost every game runs on it, except for a few such as those Starforce games which install a driver, but its a 32bit driver, therefore it dosent work. But other than that programs run great on 64bit. Plus if you have Visual Studio 2005 you can compile in 64bit mode.
Atleast 1, will be needed to run Vista when it comes out, if that is one of your goals in the future. But doubling the memory to 2 can makes a big difference, especially in memory intense games such as F.E.A.R. which runs much more smoothly with 2 GB.

Good advice Nate.
I have an AMD, and it's a great CPU. It is a 3500+ to be exact, the 90 nm version (which is more efficient compared to the 130nm).
If you decide to go 64 Bit, which almost all of the new amds are, then the best site for 64 AMD would be Planet 64 AMD: http://www.planetamd64.com/
You can find lots of help there, new information, drivers, ect.
Of course you'll need a 64 bit OS such as Win XP Pro x64, or the new Vista x64. Note that you will need new drivers for everything if you run on 64bit OS (graphics, sound, modem, webcam,...) Which many companies have or are developing drivers (*cough* logitech *cough*)
AMD CPU's are great in my opinion.

ooo, I see.
I really like Asus mobos. They work great when I built my computer. But I'm sure there are other good brands too.
Here are all the Intel PCI-E ones one newegg by price.
As Klass said, the videocard depends on your budget. Don't get the most expensive one, and don't get an old one that is going to be phased out.
