Going along with DVR's.... I love our HD Tivo, its awesome. Stores 200+ hrs of SD or about 30 hrs HD. The cool thing is most of the primetime shows (from the 'local' networks like CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX) have their hit shows in HD. And the picture looks great on the broadcast.
Right now I think we have about 25 season passes set up.
So we'll never miss a new episode whenever the show appears on tv.It'd be very different with out my Tivo

I'd suggest the Express versions if you want to try them out. Some education discounts might bring the price down a lot if you decide to buy it.

Yea, iTunes is kinda annoying like that. I turned off the auto update/sync feature because it would try to sync my library every time I connected.
Anapod is a great program if you want an alternative to itunes.

It has a free trial to test it out, but buying it is well worth it. It has this neat feature that turns your ipod into a password protected http server so you and others can stream and download all of your files neatly organized and searchable from your ip.

Seem like a inquisitive reporter ejected a laptop that was suposedly was playing a high def blu ray disc, but when it opened it was a cheap copy of the movie on DVD+R media!
And the disc wasn't even a Sony dvd!

Ahh, well the contest is over now.
I completed all 24 puzzles, but unfortunatly I wasn't one of the first 10000 to submit the last one. :| If only I came home a little earlier after it was released (1PM). Oh well, I still had fun solving a new puzzle every day.

Zezar: Awesome, a 24 fan! I've got a lot of people at school to start watching 24 because every other monday I wear my 24 t-shirt.
Prison Break season finale tonight! CSI Vegas is on Thursday, and 24's is next week with a special 2hr season finale. I'm looking forward to it.

I love 24. It is one of the best shows out there!
Prison Break, NCIS, House, Lost, Bones, CSI: Vegas, CSI: Miami, My Name is Earl, Monk, 4400, The Shield, Numb3rs, Family Guy, South Park, Simpsons, King of the King.
Those are most of the shows I watch in an average week.
O fcourse there are more, can't think of all of them now. -

E3 is ongoing this week (May 8-12). In case you don't know what E3 is, it stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo. Which is basically a big convention for videogames.
The PS3, the Wii, the 360 are some of the big attractions featured there.

So apparently these dogs (only two of them so far) can smell the unique smell of CDs and DVDs. Interesting concept, but I don't think that it will work out very well. They have even opened up several innocent packages that had discs in them to check for movies, seems like an invasion of privacy to me.
Next time I got to the airport I am totally bringing a hundred blanks discs. (ok, not really)

That was an intense season finale of 24 if I do say so myself.
Logan got what was coming for him.
And Jack was kidnapped by the Chinese govt.! I knew it was going to happen sooner or later, but now he's on a ship headed to China.

My favorite was the part when he was telling the engineer on the ship how to kill a person from behind with a knife!
That was awesome!
Once again, excellent season. Looking forward to JANURARY 2007 for SEASON 6. And if my 24 shirt still fits me then, I'll be wearing it!
