Wow, those are very high requirements.
As Michael said check out the requirements and try updating drivers if you need to.
-
Oh nice!

Ah, they work now.
Here's an amazingly large hog:

You might want to wait a little bit. The next DX10 cards are coming out now (more in June). They now instead of the Go prefix have an 'M' added to the end.

It might be a good idea for some 'future proofing' to get a DX10 card.
Asus has some pretty nice notebooks as well. Also Intel has the new Santa Rosa core coming out soon, which will also lower prices for the older ones.
-
Haha Michael.
This one looks pretty cool, I'll probably wait a week or so after it opens to see it though.
(I can't wait until Die Hard 4 comes out!)

Paul, those 3 links crapped out for me.

Haha, awesome.
I like it when he's giving that person a ride and he breaks out of character.

Found this earlier on Digg. It's a geographic map of concentrations where people use different names for soda.

It's interesting to see how different regions use different names for it. Started a poll on here to see how WFGer's say it.

haha great ones.

It's a hoax, but those mastiff dogs are still massive. It reminds me of Fang.

Hehe.
I got (made) my mom this nice flower arrangement in a cool pot. It had a foxglove in the center and some small red flowers on the bottom. Looked pretty good when it was put together.

Videora iPod Converter: Free iPod video converter, doesn't create lip sync errors that many others do
Firefox: "Fuller Screen": makes FF into kiosk mode, hiding menu, tool bar. Good for presenting websites to people.
Photomatrix: HDR image software, allows you to composite bracketed shots into a single HDR image with great results.
Here's some I've made: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kingdesmond/s...57600091964311/
Those are a few neat programs off the top of my head, I'll think of more later.

It was very shocking to hear about it. I first saw it on tv during my photography class and couldn't believe it.
Later in the week I actually visited CalPoly, and you could see how it really effects everyone at colleges everywhere. They had a nice little memorial set up where you could write on post it notes and put them on a huge board that was sent to Virgina Tech.

It's coming out May 5th in the US. I heard that it cost over 500 million to make!
So what do you guys think about the new plot from the trailers, anyone going to see it right away?
-
Nice looking layout you made.
I don't think I'd be much use for personal exp. articles though.
-
Yeah that's really cool. I was reading about it earlier this week in computers and we all thought it was interesting.
-
Hey thank you guys.
Actually I won't be doing it next year as I'm graduating. Off to CalPoly! (I'm majoring in electrical engineering)
But I still may 'mentor' the guys be able to help them on the internet with designs and setting up a website.
-
Lol, nice pictures!
I'll try to find some to add in a bit.

Hey, I'm back. We did very well. 4th in our division of 86 teams (and we were rookie).
Here's the page of videos: http://www.thebluealliance.net/tbatv/team.php?team=2272

Hey guys, I've been quite busy lately with school and college apps... and robotics. So that's what I've been up to.
I'm in the school robotics club this year (my final) and we built a robot for the FIRST competition. It is for high school students and their mentors to compete in. Our basic robot design was to pick to these inner tubes and move around to a rack to place them to earn points with team members and an opposing team. All teams were given 6 weeks to work on the robot, after that they must be shipped to their regional. We competed in the Los Angles Regional along with 52 other teams. Through out March about a thousand other teams were competing in other regionals in their states.
Anyway, so we went to the LA Sports Arena to compete. It was our school's rookie year for this whole thing, so were were still learning how the whole process works. We went through the competitions and got into the quarter finals! 11th out of 52 teams total, which was a great surprise for us. But... we happened to win two awards while we were there: the All Star Rookie Award and the Highest Rookie Seed award. The All Star Award guaranteed us a spot in Atlanta for the Championship!!! As you might imagine we were so beyond excited that we got this far, the next step was fund raising for the next entrance fee. Anyone who's been in this before, or any other club, knows that it takes a lot of money! The costs for our project were $6000 (entrance fee and basic parts kit), $5000 (entering LA Regional), $5000 (entering Atlanta), plus hundreds extra for food and supplies.
I'm the self proclaimed photographer for our group ( ) and I've taken hundreds of pictures of our progress, a few of them are online if you guys would like to check them out.
So almost all of next week we'll be in Atlanta (4/12-4/14)! If you guys would like to check out, here's some links below. Btw, our team number is 2272! We are known as the "Metalhead" (not my first choice for the name) from Conejo Valley Robotics.

Hey Jim welcome to the WFG forums, hope you enjoy it.
-
It is very true.
Oddly enough I actually brought in that same cartoon a few weeks ago for my political science class.
-
It looks like an awesome movie! HD trailers of it look insanely cool.

It was a nice game between the Bears and the Colts, especially that touchdown right off the bat by Bears from the initial kickoff! If you watched it you noticed how it was pouring rain throughout almost the entire game!
Scores:
Colts 29, Bears 17
With Peyton Manning as MVP for the Colts.
We roasted up a nice smoked turkey in the bbq for dinner, anyone else have any parties or good food?

I saw it in a digital theater and it looked great (movie quality and the projection quality). It was a little bit long, but I enjoyed it.
Anyone stay till the end to see the special clip at the end?
Oh and Paul I second your number 1.
