It may be more important to show the dummies, anvils, shields, spears, etc., than to give the men some shade. I mean for gameplay (need to make it clear what this building is quickly). But LordGood is proficient artist. He can decide. :)

How about the shield and crossed spears on the side? That is a sure sign of a barracks. Most Hellenistic factions have that.

    I like this direction L
In general I think the Seleucid texture needs to be more realistic, like all of the others. This texture sheet stands out as cartoony to me.

In LordGood's defence, a lot of the Seleucid textures look like that.

And my two cents: I think the banners are fine, as long as there are military-esque objects inside or outside. Because realistically, it would be hot and sunny there, so their buildings would have shade in small courtyards.

  3. R&F's system was actually kinda nice. But the one thing I like from it was its selection system. By single clicking on a unit in formation, it would select the entire formation, double click to select the individual unit.  We also need a click drag facing option, like R&F, Rise of Nations, and Total-War.

Spearmans have exactly the same dmg as swordsmans, swords are better to destroy building, thats all. for example macedon has hero + 5 atack aura and silver sheilds have even more hp then extraordinarii or longswords but dmg is same.

Wait, SiShPi have the same damage as extraordinarii? Oh, but damage type is the issue. Swords are more useful against infantry, which is why SiShTh is a better choice right now. Infantry are genrally more resistant to pierce damage then hack damage, so while the same numerical value is used, extraordanirii are more cost effective than the SiShPi, dealing more damage to infantry, and cav can just run away like they are supposed to.

  5. How about making the default stance for all Petras "Defensive".  It's really annoying that you run a scout through their town, and the attackers will chase your scout for twenty minutes across the map, until you forget about them, then all of a sudden you get a "You're being attacked!" notification, because they finally caught up with your scout.  Also, it makes hit and fades impossible....
