  1. I'll fix LordGood's temple, texture it, and bake AO to get it in-game, and I'll try rendering the scales with your feedback in cycles and another variation with the squared plates After all, the asian elephant still not rigged/animated yet
  2. With "the edges aren't dealt with" you mean the center version? That's the previous step before the "cloth underneath" ones, but they don't look so heavy-armored, so I kept that version to show also. I made the shadow between the gaps stronger to distinguish the scales from a certain distance and make the 3D effect stronger, but seems I failed at it I'll keep playing with the scales and try to make them look better. If someone is interested, I'm making the textures rendering like this:
  3. @Lilstewie that image is brilliant I have some egyptian buildings, I just need to change the textures, but It's better that we focus on finishing Mauryans first (references and images can be posted of course)
  4. Could you please be more specific? What do you think it doesn't fit?
  5. I made the ears 10% smaller. Maybe they need to be even smaller?
  6. He hecho ya una prueba para unos tatuajes pero he encontrado un problema, ya que la textura se reusa en según que partes del modelo. pero alguna cosilla se podrá hacer I've already done a test using projection painting in blender There are some areas that can't be painted because the texture is reused in some parts of the model, but some tatoos may look good
  7. It's not a shield, it's a cloth design based in the image from the movie you posted. I'm going to work to add some head armor and cloth variations as well as silver colored scales. Suggestions and ideas are welcome, as always.
  8. Well, this is not the war or hero elephant, but Mythos asked for some props for the elephant worker, so I made two prototypes (textures and design in WIP)
  9. Hey LordGood, I think that building is ready to be posted here and get that temple in-game (and elephant stables too ) What do you think?
  10. Actually, not Thanks for reporting zoot. I'll probably give them a custom circular only-wood rubble. I'll address soon these pending rubbles ^^
  11. Whoa lilstewie, you're doing a very nice job finding all those great references. You're helping us out big time with mauryans man
  12. The new variation is so cool. It fits perfectly IMO
  13. I messed up baking the AO maps for the barracks, they're too dark due to bad "world settings" when baking AO, both barracks variation will be recentered their AO maps fixed soon.
  14. Oh! this is the multiplayer match with leper's interview? need subtitles!
  15. This is how it looks in-game with ao maps in flat terrain and uneven terrain: Polycount is much higher than I initially expected, so I'll probably have to do changes to the model.
  16. Hola Pedro! Bienvenido a los foros.
  17. I played around with the wildebeest mesh and matched those references and others, if someone wants to try to texture I'll post it here.
  18. No problem at all I also had the same impression but it was very late here. It's fixed now.
  19. Yes it has AO maps. I can change the shield type and rebake AO or we can add the second set of shield textures and change that shield texture
  20. Commited both variations. Feel free to ask changes on texturing.
  21. We're not asking to compact all into a tiny space, just rearrange the stalls in a way that occupy less space. I still regretting how big I made the roman market, because sometimes I don't have enough room to place it in a heavy-flora crowded or reduced spaces. IMO persians and celt markets have the perfect footprint size.
  22. I want to add even further, this error may also appear if you have non-connected vertices or edges. To discard this possibility, enter face selection mode, select all with "A" and hide all the selected faces with "H". Then change the selection mode to vertex, and hit "A" to see if there's any "lost" vertex or edges and delete them.
