violence is increasing in schools it seems...and that's very unfortunate.

I think, maybe the news are having an effect on young ppl.

because...

How often do you see good news on TV ?

And when crimes are commited, every journalist details it very clearly.

And you always see it, when a dangerous prisonner is released, even if he has commited big crimes. So maybe young ppl, think they can get away with it...and they do cause their only minors.

I know also, that we lost respect for our teachers in the last decades. And since teachers abused of the students before, now there is a law that forbid teachers to put a hand on the student (in Canada). So now, we're confronted with teacher abuse. (or something like that)

I agree that some teachers are really mean and bad. Maybe they deserve some kind of punishment, but I don't think...as kor said, that they deserve to be shot in the head.

I do hope this doesn't get any worse...even one or two incidents a years is too much...there should be none, but then again, what can we do ?
