Greetings to WFG Staff!

Recommended Posts

Hello to you all guys,

I am checking your game for updates for almost a year, and I want to tell you that I really like the idea and the game itself. Great work! :)

There are two simple reasons why I am posting here. First is to give you some feedback, and to tell you I really like the game, and the second is to offer you my help.

I understand if you don't need my help now, but I would really like to help you. I have about a year experience in 3DS Max and can help you with modelling (everything except organic stuff). I also have some experience in programming. Actually, I am Advanced/Intermediate in VB.Net and Average in C++ (little knowgledge of SDL).

Here are also few examples of my work as a modeller:

That's all from me for now,

I hope to get some responses soon. :D

Thank you,

Hey RexTroianus (Trojan King :D ), welcome to the WFG forum. I'm nobody important, just a random guy posting and giving feedback, as most people around here. It's a great forum and make sure to visit this often. ;)

:)

And about your models, although your models do look pretty good, the lightning could be a bit better, it doesn't look real. Hope that helps. :P

Have you done any low poly work, Rex? Low poly modelling for games is abit of a different world from regular modelling (shouldn't be too hard to get used to). Also how are you with textures? The artists here and indeed everyone else here are multitallented so that they can go about creating something from scratch and putting it in the game (modelling it, texturing it, skinning it, exporting it, creating the actor/entity data for it, etc)

Regardless of skill level, the most important asset for someone on the team is that they're able to function and lead themselves, they'll be able to work without having to wait for instruction and they can go about doing things without needing much resources from others (besides information).

Guys, thanks for such kind words! Thank you... :)

CheeZy: Yea, I am able to do low poly models as well. With textures, I'm not the best, but I can give it a try, no problems. Also, I don't need anyone to guide me or give me instructions on modelling, I just need a reference image to look at... :D

If you would like me to help you guys, try me...
