Argalius
- the Netherlands settled the area around Hudson and New York Bay - 1664 England conquered the colony New Netherland ( war against the Netherlands) and renamed New Amsterdam in New YorkI'm not sure, but I thought I heard once that The Netherlands traded New Amsterdam (New York) against Suriname, I'm not sure though, but maybe you can find something about it.But very nice document. DarkAngelBGE
Hehe, Argalius. But I more meant proofreading the language instead of the contents.
Argalius
Oh lol Is this for a talk or do you have to give this to the teacher, because it isn't a real story it's more like keywords. Anyway, I haven't seen any grammar faults, but as you know I'm not English

King Tutankhamun
What are the large arrows for?And the title should be in caps. A general rule is that all of the words except for 'a, the, and' ect are capitalized in a title. America's Early History.Maybe it is just the formatting, but some of your sentances seems to drop off and then continue on the next line. Try backspacing to make each point continue.Good job. Is that for your History class?
DarkAngelBGE
These are key notes, therefore there are no real sentences, but word groups. It was made by some mates of mine. I just helped them proofreading it.
MarkT
As notes, they're fine. There are a few things that aren't, technically speaking, correct English - nothing major - and some other things which are just stylistically strange, but notes don't need to be perfect English and the style you write with is up to you
Mystic-Al-Bob
@Desmond: I think it's for our English class where we deal with English and American history. @Timbo: Who will give this talk? According to the topic it's Mike or Bea, right?
King Tutankhamun
Ahh that's right, you two are in the same class.
