CodeOptimist
BTW guys: you can use Google to do conversions... try typing in:"6 foot 3 inches in meters" into the Google search box. Mythos_Ruler
I'm thinking of a reverse list. Yes, that would do nicely! Why is is better to be taller? Why does society promote this notion? Think about it. I believe it has its roots in aggression and violence (those supposed marks of "masculinity"). Also, studies have shown that taller people are given more promotions at work and better wages. Is this because the genes for height determine someone's work ethic or mental fortitude? Highly doubtful. As society becomes more and more aggressive, this kind of thing happens more and more.I could go on and on about this. However, I must assure you all that I am completely comfortable with my height - other people don't seem to be though. Others bring it up more than I, and it is usually in a negative connotation (although, usually in a joking manner). This is a societal problem, and I suspect it will be the last to be addressed (if ever).Sorry to rain on the party.
