How would like the Fog Of War to be implimented in 0AD/TLA? I would like it if there's a map editor option to have all the small scale game map to be revealed. Instead of becoming darker farther away from a unit or building, have it become more bluish and foggy. Where none of your units has gone, it should look totally foggy instead of being black.

Also, the higher up a unit or tower is, the more it can see clearly than it can see at sea level. To put it in plain terms, if you put up a tower up on a mountain top, about half the map will be shown clearly in it's radius. However, if it's at sea level, it can see about only a fifth of the map instead.

So, how do you like my ideas?

TLA's will be done with differing levels of opacity. So there will be LoS gradually fading into complete opacity.

Also on the drawing board is "Memory of Sight", a new innovation TLA is considering that would bascially determine how long an area remains "partly opaque" before the full opacity covers it back up again. So for instance, exploring with a scout is more valuable than exploring with another unit because the area will remain partly visible longer.
