LordWahu
I have installed the game numerous times via numerous processes. Upon doing so, it starts the game, but when I try to start a match, upon going to 100% loading, the game crashes. I have tried a vast amount of times, and nothing changes. The actual crash log is attached, but this is the text on the info box after it crashes Much to our regret we must report the program has encountered an error: Please let us know at http://trac.wildfiregames.com/ and attach the crashlog.txt and crashlog.dmp files. Details: unhandled exception (Access violation reading 0x3F800000) Location: unknown:0 (?) Call stack: (error while dumping stack: No stack frames found) errno = 0 (No error reported here) OS error = 0 (no error code was set) I am running the game on Windows 8. crashlog.txt

There is a release candidate build of the next version (Alpha 22) available: http://releases.wildfiregames.com/rc/ , please try it out to check whether the issue is solved there.
LordWahu
I have tried the new install, but unfortunatly, it gave me the same error. fcxSanya
@LordWahu is a crashlog.dmp file present in the logs folder?
LordWahu
Strangely no, but it suddenly started working. I don't know what I did (or didn't) do, but the problem appears to be fixed right now. Thanks for all the help.

LordWahu
Strangely, one combination of actions works: Playing in Windowed mode Doing the Greek Acropolis (4) map Making the teems 1,2,1,3 Having the difficulties set to Easy, Medium, Easy Doing that allows the game to start. fcxSanya
@LordWahu I didn't manage to examine the crashdump properly yet, but it seems to be crashing inside atioglxx.dll, which is a graphics driver library. Your crashlog.txt states "6.14.10.10429" version of atioglxx.dll, which according to this report lacks some OpenGL features present in the newer versions. So please try to update your graphics driver.
Stan`
If you can't because your card isn't supported anymore by AMD just try disabling GLSL and postprocessing.
