Units stuck running in place

I've attached a replay where my units were stuck running in place at some point. I tried fidgeting with the formations and aggression level, couldn't do anything to get them unstuck. My first champion ball gets stuck by the rally point, then a ball of skirmeshers get stuck right outside of enemy territory. I've never uploaded a replay but my attempt at doing so is attached here. Last 25% of the game or so, it will be completely obvious (in the forest just southwest of the east player's starting position)

Twice in a row, both times it's started when I switched my units from "no formation" to "line closed" or something to that effect. Is it just me? Does anything similar happen to anyone else?

Formations are broken and may cause lag. It is recommended that you do not use them.

Created http://trac.wildfiregames.com/ticket/4153 as I couldn't find an existing ticket surprisingly. The bug occurs min 24:40 with the blue player.

I've noticed my allies' units doing this. Does the AI invoke formations?

Just a note, the same issue happens then a formationed unit gets in the path of an elephant.
