Until we have a mod manager/downloader the only sensible distribution is with the main release. But surely only if we get this running. <-- too clunky, only the public mod will be distributed.

Maybe just make a new GitHub repo under CoM ("releases" or so). There you can upload your zip per release. F.e. Aristeia-0.0.16.zip for the next version. If you take a link to the "raw" version of that, people don't even have to see the github interface.

Even if we leave the artwork out, i.e. take the closest ones (buildings and heroe 3D models) from the main civs? Because Rodmar and Zophim have researched two new civs entirely. Would be a pity not to have it in.

Do you have clues why the conversion is not working as expected?

Taking the closest ones will result in a strange mix, but that might work.

I didn't test the conversion yet, even not sure yet how to test.

We maybe should create a place to host releases?

@Sander17: Thanks, that's what we will do then.

We're doing it this way on sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/zero-ad/files/ But I guess that's historical (SF was one of the first to offer free file and code hosting to open-source projects). Hosting the releases on our own servers would cost too much (81500 downloads at 526MB for a single release)

Luckily from the Egyptians' point of view a lot can be taken from the Ptolemies as a temporal workaround. What needs to be done right now is temporarily removing the additional scripts Aristeia has and make sure that for every entity that hasn't a custom made actor the corresponding Ptolemian one is selected.

These are:

Buildings:

1. Storehouse (Already selected)

2. Blacksmith (Already selected)

Units:

1. All boats

2. Healer

3. Female citizen (already selected)

4. Persian Siege Ram

@Lion: I noticed that every unit is not able to build the Egyptian Palisade but instead the Roman one. Why is that?

Idanwin may be uses roman faction as template. But remove the roman palisade and out the normal one.

Thx Lion for the screenshot. I like it. The wall could easily be lowered. Is the one you showed too high?

Just remember reallocate/reassign Seleucids and Ptolemies.
