You're not using the proper password for the lobby bot.

Also why do you want to run your own lobby server?

(Assuming you are still following the README and are still stuck with that error you posted above.)

Pass the correct password and login name to the bot (XpartaMuPP.py) (pass '-h' to see the available options (or read the source)).

You can't use the wildfiregames.com domain if you don't own it, or don't get premission from the owner. So either a domain you rent somewhere, or the "localhost" domain, which is your own computer. (in that case, only you and friends in your house will be able to access your lobby).

Are you passing the script the correct domain, login name and password?

The authentication error you are getting tells you that one of those parameters is wrong.

Do you have a user named xpartamupp?

In the README is written, that this user is expected:

Z.46: Enter a login (use "xpartamupp" since that's what clients and the ipstamp module expect)

Actually I am able to set up a server according to the README.

Open http://localhost:5280/admin in your browser, login with the Username and the Password that you set as you set up your server.

Goto "Virtual Host" and click on the Hostname you created. Then goto Users and tell me what you see.

In your post #13 you tried to connect to your server with two diffrent commands:

./XpartaMuPP.py -l ubuntu --password 123456 --nickname WFGbot

and

./XpartaMuPP.py --domain ubuntu   --password 123456 --nickname WFGbot

As you see, they are different in one part:

In the first, successful, Command you use "-l Ubuntu", in the second "--domain Ubuntu".

with -l you specify the loginname, and with --domain, the place to find your server.

I thought it might be helpful to step in here and mention that there isn't really any reason to setup your own lobby server besides having a private chatroom. The setup is rather complicated and was not intended to be done by an ordinary user.

You just want the server (domain) part for this one.

Client computers can not ping the domain name: ubuntu. But can ping its ip address, I turned off all firewalls! why? Please help me! Thank you!

Add a line to the hosts file of the clients with the ip and ubuntu.

Gameboy, why are you using ubuntu as your domain name? Looking at the stuff you've posted earlier in this post:

root@baby#: ./source/tools/XpartaMuPP/XpartaMuPP.py --domain ubuntu --password 123456 --nickname WFGbot

The stuff after root@ is your Ubuntu Os' domain name. So, if I'm not mistaken, you should be using baby# instead of ubuntu like this:

./source/tools/XpartaMuPP/XpartaMuPP.py --domain baby# --password 123456 --nickname WFGbot
