plumo
I have to say: i don't get it. 0 A.D. and its six civilizations were all located around the mediterranean sea, Europe and the Middle East. This game also wants to be quite realistic. Why than do we get so many tilesets of places where none of these civilizations ever set foot ? Serengeti, tropical island, gambia, even the sahel...I'm not saying anything bad about the tilesets itself, they're beautifully made. ribez
well, more is better than less... and i think that this tile could be used for fun in custom multiplayer maps, where people shouldn't search too much the historic accuracy
Shield Bearer
0 A.D. (pronounced "zero ey-dee") is a free, open-source, cross-platform real-time strategy (RTS) game of ancient warfare. In short, it is a historically-based war/economy game that allows players to relive or rewrite the history of Western civilizations...History is yours for the taking, my man
SMST
Plus, these places cry "mod a civilisation for me!" like nothing else.I still want a proper forestfloor terrain for the Mediterranean tileset and the two old greek cliff textures back, though. satchitb
I'd like realism as in maps that look like they're real places, but I don't mind maps that represent, say, China or the Central African plateau.
oshron
as for places that those civilizations never went to, its my understanding that maps like those are just included for fun. after all, SOME liberties have already been taken, such as the celtic buildings

Jubalbarca
Carthage got quite a long way down the African coast, possibly even circumnavigated the continent, so a modded in central African faction could lead to some interesting alternate history scenarios. satchitb
This might be too demanding, but how about a leaf litter terrain? It would make forests so much prettier, especially dense forest maps.
feneur
I'm guessing you mean a forest floor texture like this:It either exists or will exist for all biomes.
