The Swedish translation is now cleaned up and complete. I would like to get Reviewer status in Transifex to be able to change some older strings. Username is yeager

Hello, thanks for working on this. You should have gotten something from Transifex notifying you of your status change. Please use it responsibly.

If you don't mind me asking since I'm evaluating Transifex pertinence at the moment, how did you find where to translate / us, 0 A.D. is transifex working well for you compared to say Weblate if you've used that? Thanks in advance.

Thank you Stan.

All good. Got the Reviewer status now and can change older strings but I can't tag them as Reviewed. Transifex is way better than Crowdin or Weblate.

Is there a way to test the translation or do I need to wait for the next release?

You can look at the latest Release Candidates, else you need to clone the repo and pull the translations yourself.

Will it be possible to translate the disclaimer as well?

In the code they are marked as translatable, and grepping the po files indicates some languages seem to have translations.

Seems like source/tools/i18n/update_templates.py contains a bug which includes leading and trailing line breaks and tabs when extracting strings from XML files. While a fix should be straight-forward, as we're in string freeze we want to pull the fix into main only and have a separate r28-only workaround for including line breaks and tabs when looking for translated strings from XML files.
