Not drinking in the US. We can vote or get drafted and sent to get shot somewhere, but we can't buy handguns or drink... Not until 21

Most states allow you to drive starting around 15, you just need to take a bunch of tests.

Yeah, I know the US are... "special". Also in a lot of European countries you can vote from 16 (depending which election). But I still think the 18th birthday is outstanding in most countries.

Yeah, I think 18 is now the "universal" coming of age date. 18 is the age when you are legally considered not a minor.
