  1. Not sure where to post it, but I'll post it here.
  2. I never e-mail and never get e-mailed, I use MSN instead.
  3. Heineken isn't very good, I agree. My father is even anti-Heineken. Whenever he goes abroad and they give him beer (which automaticly is Heineken) he asks for local beer because it almost always tastes better.
  4. Hoegaarden, is that Belgium? Never knew that. Duvel is a pretty funny beer, my father drinks it from time to time, it's in a funny bottle. Ok, so beer goes to Belgium and sausages go to Germany.
  5. It isn't NY or something, we're talking about Rome! So I really meant alleys.
  6. One of my teachers always tells about how great Rome is. He also says that the most beautiful things aren't find at the best known places but in the small alleys of Rome. So check them, get a map and explore.
  7. You forgot Dutch best exporting product, drugs! And not to forget De Wallen (Red light district), Rijksmuseum (with the Nachtwacht), Deltawerken, Afsluitdijk, all the palaces, Nijmegen is pretty nice too. Maastricht is cool, the Dom of Utrecht, Volendam , man we have so many nice places And yeah, I know how Belgians are, fries, fries, fries. (j/k of course, it's a rediculous prejudice.)
  8. 7 Dutch people? I always thought there were 2 or 3...
  9. I could test some drinks for you. Which gives the most energy so you'll be able to spend long nights working on 0AD.
  10. After seeing the trailer out 2002 again I was thinking about the intro movie for 0AD. Will there even be one? And do you already have an idea about what it will be? If you have one of course. I was thinking about the Teutoberger massacre or something. Might not be a very good idea since the German tribes aren't in, but the Celts are... Oh well.
  11. I agree with Cheezy that it isn't a very good idea considering the gameplay. But I think a nice graphical feature would be that the waves really are higher further of the coast, it's similar to waves rolling on the beach really, only now it's further of the coast.
  12. I was thinking about the territory system. Does this mean that buildings can't be built in enemy territory? I mean wouldn't this take out all the fast tactics that a RTS game has? Because when I want to construct a forward base for instance I first have to capture the area before I can build something on it, if this is true the fastness of a forward base and attack is soon gone, atleast that's how I see it. Also will the enemy be able to see when you capture another territory? So it's shown on the map for example?
  13. Oh I can't wait to play against, espescially, the creators of this game, I think it will be great! But well I'll have to wait pretty long... Isn't there anything that I can do to speed up the process? I really want to kill someRomans, espescially Paul.
  14. Oh man, you really need to take some evening classes. Spain and Portugal... the Iberian Peninsula (SP?)
  15. I think I'll play with the Carthaginians first. I'd love to kick some Roman but! (that's a sensative subject around here ) But well, I don't know why, they just seem cool... Maybe it's the elephants... or... I dunno...
  16. I thought about that the buildings don't blend into the terrain on a screenshot. And I think I might have a sollution. In some games (at least in AoM) buildings get a special paved terrain under them. This also remains there when a building is destroyed, which I think isn't that good it would be better if it would disappear in time again. Anyway, what about implenting this in 0AD too? Then you could fit the textures with the paved terrains so they do blend with it.
  17. Yeah, same for me. I don't know what you're talking about.
  18. Well you can always put a disclaimer at the top, so people have no reason to start whining (sp?) if a feature isn't included. But Ykkrosh, what do you mean with implement it all? It is supposed to be implented anyway... or am I missing something?
  19. Something like those "this or this" are very good. And eventhough things have changed, I think the basic of Atlas haven't so I think you can talk about that anyway. And even if some ideas went off the table I think it still is pretty good to talk about, you could even explain why you replaced/skipped them.
  20. I would be interested in your articles, Bobby. But I agree, some pictures can say much more than a 1000 words, so if it's text-only I think it wouldn't be as interesting as it could be with pictures. So it might not appeal to everyone...
