The game itself i cannot find anymore on the web. It was more RPG like where you had an army, that you expanded, but the world map on the frontpage changed dynamicly after conquests and everything was saved.
-
Has anyone played rise of nations: expansion? I particularly liked the fact that choices in campagin scenario 1 influenced campagin scenario 2 for example. For example, playing as Rome, Do you ally yourself with the Hellenes in Syracuse to attack the Carthagians ? If so, perhaps next mission they turn against you. If not, they might help you in the first scenario.

Hey Quick question: how do build 0 AD in full screen? Because now it opens on the left hand of my screen. Kind regards Plumo

Personally, I demand a iberian campaign or at least some seperate scenarios like AOK: the conquerors. The siege of NUmantia! google it

Personally, there is great potential in a 0 AD webgame for a few reasons (according to me): - the art is of professional quality... - Wildfiregames' policy that 0 AD remains freeware without a catch: no GOLD status like in travian or all other webgames where you can buy extras and resource bonuses with real money. I hate it personally. The easiest webgame would just be a rip-off of travian, having 6 civilizations instead of their romans, gauls and germans, but there are already a dozen of that kind. More original and in my eyes very interesting would be a real map of the Mediterranean region divided into thousands of small provinces/zones. When the server starts all are empty of course. Newly registered players pick a civ and are placed on the map closest to the civ's capital or according to the historical expansions of a certain civilization (Each civ receives a capital that is NPC, f.e. Rome, Persepolis, Carthage,...). Every player builds in his own parcel. The goal would be suppremacy of your civ, conquering neighbouring zones, ... There was a game like this on the web, but I forgot the title.

Yes I have VC 2008 SP 1 installed. Where can I find this "Use Library Dependency Inputs"- option ? This morning I built it and I had no error, strange things these incrementalisms.

Well let us take Age of kings as an example, or Age of mythology: didn't have morale. no regrets I find morale sometimes quite frustrating: seeing your units rout is depressing, and chasing routing armies in R:TW wasn't that much fun, it was always a race to take them prisoner before they crossed the red border lines...

When I build pyrogenisis in vc 2008 every time I get an error that mıcrosoft or wındows ıncremental lınk doesnt work and has to close. I can start up the game but without recent svn updates... has anyone encountered this before? I ll try to add the build log when I get back from uni.

It happened again but deleting the map that is 'faulty' and doing a cleanup fixes the problem. Thanks for the help!

Trying to update 0 AD: Error - Working copy C:\ps locked Error - Please execute the 'cleanup' command So i try the cleanup Cleanup failed to process the following paths: - C:\ps In directory 'C:\ps\binaries\data\mods\public\art\meshes\props' Error processing command 'modify-wcprop' in 'C:\ps\binaries\data\mods\public\art\meshes\props' 'C:\ps\binaries\data\mods\public\art\meshes\props\hele_sr_p.pmd' is not under version control. any ideas what I can do to fix it? I let the game download in parts, sometimes I cancel the process and download 100 mb later via SVN update.

Well. A showcase for Hellenes should be easy. As the Hellenes are already included in the pre alpha game, so people can see them already. @Sophokles, are you active on the Third age forums as well? by any chance

Will soldiers change skin when gathering resources? To unarmoured?
-
No problem. That should teach me not to update daily
-
Yeah well... I updated to r7259 And then the error appeared. No problems. So what do I do? Delete whole file and download again ?

Command: Update Error: REPORT of '/public/!svn/vcc/default': 200 OK (http://svn.wildfiregames.com) Finished!:
-
Voted! I think it would generate more votes ( and interest) if you'd release another (small?) preview or news update on moddb.com Perhaps a unit special for the Hellenic civ. More people will try out the latest build and perhaps contribute to its progress... If any of you find this a good idea ofcourse AND have some spare time

A question: When will the other factions be unlocked for us
-
Well Performance still stutters alot ( 4 GB RAM) but I sure noticed... strange
-
Sorry to have created a topic/thread for such a stupid reason but I wanted to say my 0 AD performance is much better after last revisions (today). Less freeze-frames, better performance overall. Keep up the good work
