@notpete: Well, it's not the book only. It's many books, about the GUI, user manual, Windows reference book, Windows-Programming-Manual etc. @Klaas: Why do I look evil ? @Bobby: Hope you get your own comp soon.
@Ph4antom: way to go. @Marcus: This is due to some private forums that the *mortals* can't see. In those forums big portions of the games get developed. Also we have a WebDevelopment Forum to write down *market strategies* and plan and develop the new sites. However, you will see that some of the *Mortals* will get through to the thousands soon enough.
It's username for me, except for if I am in search of a post by a moderator. But then I check for the color and have to look at the name as well afterwords.
Well, you talked to me about it , bobby, but I read the article just yesterday. Maybe I am going to translate into English and post it here. I will also search for more articles on the matter.
I got the new GAMESTAR today and the title was like "Scandal about Half-Life 2". They said that some "alpha" version was stealed from Valve's servers and got into the internet. The gamestar team got a copy either and playtested it. What they saw is just breath-taking: Clipping errors, unfinished levels (big parts), everything the AI did in trailers so far were script sequences (the AI is very dumb actually) and lots of other bad stuff. They interviewed Gabe Newell, lead designer of Half-Life 2 and he said that they are not so far with the AI, but it's right that they want it to be like what it does in the script sequences. Good read Good read 2
Well, I also thought the demo scenarios were quite hard. Other than that the game has much potential and should be great fun in multiplayer. technically and graphically the game is the best so far me thinks. Can't say much about gameplay as I have only played the demo.
